BWT ES Echo
A practical cordless pool cleaner with very good runtime and easy handling, but not a perfectionist cleaner. Testing and owner reviews agree that it removes most everyday debris well; corners, ultra-fine dirt and some debris spill-back on removal are the main compromises.
Owners like the light cordless setup, long battery life, straightforward app control and solid floor and wall cleaning for normal maintenance.
Independent testing found weaker corner pickup, some dirt being stirred or released back into the pool, and filtration that is not as fine as premium rivals.

What reviewers found
A seller-operated hands-on test found useful wall and waterline cleaning, with compromises around corners, fine dirt and lifting the robot out. This is more informative than a specification list, though it is not an independent publication’s review.
Walls are a stronger point than corners
Poolpanda’s test found the ES Echo capable on walls and the waterline across the surfaces it tried. Navigation was broadly workable, but corners were less consistently cleaned. The result supports everyday surface maintenance in the tested setup, rather than complete coverage of every recess.

The tester observed dirt being stirred up and some collected debris escaping during removal. It also identified the lack of a fine filter as a limitation. These details matter if the pool’s main problem is sediment rather than visible leaves.

The lid and basket arrangement was considered easy to use. That helps with the repeated empty-and-rinse routine, but does not remove the need to retrieve and recharge the robot. The review does not establish multi-season battery or motor durability.
