What reviewers found
A Taiwanese A1 hands-on report found a clear improvement on weathered balcony glass, with more limited success against longstanding bathroom deposits.
Outside windows
Using water in the tank, the tester found the A1 easy to position with its remote and effective on the film and rain marks covering a balcony window. They also found the pressure warning useful when the robot was not fully attached. These observations concern one installation, rather than a verified all-surface success rate.

The same reviewer saw an improvement on a shower door but could not remove all old scale and soap residue with water alone. Automatic spraying offered less control over a particularly dirty spot than they wanted. This distinction matters if the main intended job is restoring neglected shower glass.

The report describes filling the tank, connecting power, securing the tether and fitting the cloth flat before starting. It also highlights washing the cloth after use so collected grit is not carried into the next clean. The A1 reduces the wiping work while leaving these preparation and upkeep steps with the user.
