Scout’s moving camera can help an owner look around a room remotely, but manufacturer-hosted customer reviews show sharply different experiences with docking and Wi-Fi. Its programmable nature is an attraction for tinkerers rather than a guarantee of effortless monitoring.
A useful low-angle remote view
One owner describes successfully driving Scout around to find a pet and check the house from away, with more than two years of use. The manufacturer also documents app driving and programmable patrol routes. Those are specific uses, not whole-home coverage without obstacles.
