One of the best mower platforms for steep, rough and obstacle-heavy gardens. The hardware, traction and app are excellent; the price, size and still-maturing software make it unnecessary for a simple lawn.

What reviewers found
T3 found the Z1 solid, easy to configure and capable of an even cut. Its size and unfinished borders are the clearest everyday compromises, especially in a smaller garden.
Quietly capable mowing
The tested Z150 cut consistently over uneven ground and avoided furniture and plant pots. Its cautious clearance around objects could leave more grass standing than expected. The reviewer liked the app’s schedules, zones and cutting controls.

The test used manual perimeter mapping after the reviewer could not find automatic mapping. Without the optional PreciEdge module, a noticeable boundary strip remained. Treat that accessory as a separate purchase when comparing the tested package.

The reviewer found it bulky and heavy to move, despite appreciating the construction and steering. One charge comfortably covered the test garden, but that does not establish maximum-area endurance. The test covers the Z150 battery variant and the standard camera/RTK Z1, not Z1 LiDAR.
