The mower hardware can make sense for large lawns, but the app experience is a real ownership consideration. User feedback on MY iMOW is mixed enough that we would test connectivity carefully during the return window.

What the evidence shows
The 7 EVO’s large-lawn functions are documented, but the sources reviewed do not provide a reliable model-specific account of everyday mowing. Reviews of the non-EVO iMOW 7 and ratings of the shared app cannot fill that gap on their own.
Connected controls still rely on a wired installation
STIHL describes remote operation for the EVO range and offers dealer help with the perimeter wire, dock and schedule. This establishes what can be configured; it does not show how reliably the 7 EVO covers a large garden or how often it needs cleaning and assistance.

The app serves several iMOW models. A broad app rating would mix hardware generations, phones and installation circumstances, so it is not a 7 EVO reliability score. The evidence checked here leaves its actual cutting consistency, slope performance and owner support experience unresolved.
