What we know
Per Maytronics, the E35i scrubs the floor, walls and waterline with two brushes, is rated for in-ground pools up to 12 metres and connects to the MyDolphin Plus app over Wi-Fi. The Maytronics listing covers its non-Wi-Fi twin, the E35, which comes with a caddy and has no app. The rest of what turns up online is retailer listings and affiliate pages repeating the spec sheet. We'll update the page when a real test appears.
Floor, walls and waterline
Per Maytronics, it cleans the floor, walls and waterline with two brushes over a two-hour cycle and uses water jets to grip and turn. It's rated for in-ground pools up to 12 metres, in any common shape. That wall and waterline scrubbing is the step up from the floor-only E10, which sits below it in Dolphin's European E-line.
App instead of a timer
The E35i connects to the MyDolphin Plus app over Wi-Fi, per Maytronics, so you can pick cleaning cycles and steer it from your phone. The listing shows no weekly timer and no delay start on the power supply. The Maytronics listing for the E35 shows no app either, so that version can't be scheduled at all.
Filters, cable and weight
It uses a top-loading combined filter, with an ultra-fine filter in the box, per Maytronics. The 17-metre cable has a swivel to stop it tangling. It weighs 7.88kg dry, which Maytronics calls light enough for easy lifting. There's no full-filter warning, though, so check the basket yourself after each run.
What's not checked yet
Our search turned up retailer pages, price-comparison listings and affiliate round-ups, but no reviewer who put this model in a pool and reported back. So the basics are still open: how well it covers the floor, whether it really scrubs the waterline, how it copes with steps and how the app behaves. The Maytronics page explains the design, and nothing more.
Our take
Should you buy the E35i?
Best for: In-ground pools whose owners want scheduled cleaning from an app. Skip it if: You want a stronger record in independent tests before buying.
It might suit a mid-sized in-ground pool in Europe if you want app control and waterline scrubbing, but there's no test to back that up yet. If you want a Dolphin with test results, the Nautilus CC Plus, sold in parts of Europe, cleaned floors and walls well for three independent testers. For a cordless robot, look at the Dolphin EON 100.
The E35i sits in the middle of Dolphin's European E-line, above the floor-only E10 and below the E50i. It plugs into the mains, scrubs the floor, walls and waterline with two brushes over a two-hour cycle, and has a swivel on its 17-metre cable to stop it twisting. The 'i' means Wi-Fi: you control it through the MyDolphin Plus app. A fine and an ultra-fine filter come in the box.
The trade-off is scheduling. Maytronics lists no weekly timer on the power supply, so you set cleans from the app. There's no full-filter warning either, so check the basket after each run.
The E35 is the same robot without Wi-Fi, per Maytronics. It comes with a caddy and has no app.

Alternatives
Other robotic pool cleaners to compare.

Nautilus CC Plus
Why consider it: Three independent testers found it cleans floors and walls quickly, with filters that are easy to empty.
The compromise: It sometimes sticks on steps, and testers disagree about whether it cleans the waterline.

EON 100
Why consider it: Testers found this cordless Dolphin cleans floors and the waterline well and never got stuck.
The compromise: It's heavy to lift out, and it gives steps only a quick pass.

AquaSense 2
Why consider it: Testers liked its floor and wall cleaning, and it floats to the edge when it's done, so there's no hook needed.
The compromise: It doesn't skim, and steps and fine silt were hit and miss in testing.
