A beautifully built, quiet mower for large gardens if you are happy with a boundary wire. It feels more like durable garden machinery than a gadget, but the price and Bluetooth-only connectivity now look old-fashioned.
Independent tests praise build quality, quiet operation, dependable mowing and unusually strong configurability for complex lawns.
It is expensive, needs a professionally installed boundary wire in many gardens and lacks the remote connectivity of newer wire-free rivals.

What reviewers found
Digital Home’s hands-on review found strong construction and flexible control in a conventional wired mower. Its positive assessment is most useful for an owner already comfortable with planning and maintaining a perimeter wire.
A familiar wired installation
The tester reused an existing boundary wire rather than laying a new one. Onboard setup and app pairing were straightforward, and the extension lead gave flexibility in locating the charging supply. This does not measure the full installation effort on a previously unprepared garden.

The reviewer praised the range of scheduling and manual-control options and found the mower suitable for more involved lawn shapes. Build quality was a particular strength. Cutting height remained a physical adjustment on the mower.

The article explicitly distinguishes the HRM2500 tested from the HRM2500 Live. Its discussion of app connectivity is not entirely consistent with its own Bluetooth specification, so we do not use it to promise away-from-home control. There is also no multi-season durability record in this test.
