After three months, Vacuum Wars’ home reviewer praised the floor finish and found little residue or streaking. That was better than its earlier studio stain results. A firmware update occurred before home use, but the reviewer explicitly could not establish that it caused the improvement. We retain the disagreement instead of treating the later result as proof every unit is fixed.

Tom’s Guide found ordinary dirt and cat litter straightforward, but cereal was pushed around, crushed or trapped near wheels. Corners and edges also needed attention. This gives useful context to the positive mopping reports: being good at daily floor film does not automatically mean reliable collection of every larger kitchen spill.

The Vacuum Wars household had a heavily shedding dog, yet reported no hair clogging, bin overfilling or brush tangles. Cable avoidance was also notably dependable, with only two interventions during the trial for other causes. This is valuable extended-use evidence, although it remains one household rather than a measured owner-wide success rate.

Vacuum Wars found important app settings hard to locate and a late drying-complete announcement irritating. Tom’s Guide reported difficulty finding the dock after a small move. Choose a stable station location and allow time to learn the controls; the cleaning hardware’s sophistication does not make every daily interaction equally polished.

Our reading is that the strongest case is frequent mopping and routine pet-hair management on accessible hard floors. Buyers paying primarily for flawless debris pickup or an especially simple app should weigh the less positive findings carefully. The reviewed experience is mixed enough that a blanket best-in-class claim would hide meaningful compromises.
