What reviewers found
The available home test presents the S40 as a useful basic cleaner with low intervention during ordinary runs. Its compromises are tangible: hair still tangles, small cables need removing and mopping requires manual care and carpet protection.
Everyday floors came up well
Can Buy or Not found good daily pickup and a visibly clean floor, completing a 68m² home in one session. This supports routine cleaning without establishing deep carpet performance.

The reviewer rarely found it stranded and reported successful navigation around furniture. However, a USB lead was caught and damaged. Reliable travel through rooms therefore should not be confused with recognition of small cables or pet accidents.

After two weeks, the reviewer found hair and fur wrapped around the roller despite the anti-tangle claim. The mop needed washing and drying, and the dustbin needed emptying by hand. Those tasks are the main ownership trade-off behind a simpler machine.
