Modern Castle recorded strong debris removal across hard flooring and its carpet tests. Tech Advisor likewise found most debris collected, with inward corners left behind. These are consistent positives for ordinary vacuuming. They also show why a clean central floor does not mean skirting boards and tight corners will never need manual attention.

Modern Castle removed the pet hair in its test, but much of its longer test hair tangled around the rollers. For a mixed pet-and-long-hair household, good collection can therefore coexist with regular brush cleaning. That is a maintenance trade-off, not evidence that the robot cannot pick hair up.

Tech Advisor describes a damp cloth dragged behind the robot and found it unsuitable for dried-in stains. Modern Castle liked its office-floor result, but confirmed the pad does not lift clear for carpet. The practical reading is to use it for light hard-floor maintenance, remove the pad for carpet-only work and expect to wash it yourself.

Tech Advisor found setup simple and avoidance effective in its home. Modern Castle completed repeated office runs successfully but failed its cable test and partly contacted other small objects. These reports favour stable routes through reasonably tidy rooms, without promising that loose cords can be ignored.

Tech Advisor liked the relatively compact self-emptying arrangement. It reduces bin handling without adding mop-water servicing to the dock. Our view is that this package fits a vacuum-first household happy to manage occasional wiping separately. It is less suited to someone buying primarily for automated hard-floor washing.
