RTINGS found that the twin rubber rollers removed nearly all the pet hair in its carpet test. Fine debris was harder to extract, especially at carpet edges and corners. That distinction matters: a home with visible shed fur may benefit more than one mainly troubled by grit embedded deep in carpet. Bare-floor pickup was also good.

In TechRadar’s two-week home test, the robot repeatedly caught charging cables and struggled with rag rugs even when obstacles appeared on its map. Larger objects were easier to avoid. The reviewer spent roughly a minute clearing the floor before cleaning. That is a workable routine for a tidy home, but less attractive if your main aim is cleaning amid children’s toys and trailing leads.

RTINGS judged stain removal adequate rather than exceptional. The lifting mop helps when crossing carpet, while the dock takes over washing, drying and refilling. The useful expectation is regular floor upkeep with fewer manual steps; the test does not establish that the vibrating pad will remove every hardened kitchen stain.

Both reviews make the station’s size relevant. TechRadar found it conspicuous in a smaller home; RTINGS highlighted ongoing replacement costs alongside its automation. The ownership question is whether you can leave the station installed conveniently, with access for servicing, rather than treating it as a small charging puck that can be tucked away anywhere.

TechRadar tested laminate and rugs, explicitly without fitted carpet. Its positive day-to-day account therefore complements, rather than substitutes for, RTINGS’ carpet testing. The combined picture suits buyers who value hair pickup and are willing to clear small hazards. A discount improves the case, but cannot remove the navigation limitations observed in those tests.
