What we know
Digital Citizen used the E10 at home and found it cleaned well for the money, especially on the higher suction settings, and got under low kitchen units. It was also slow, sometimes got stuck and needed its small bin emptied after one or two runs. With no saved map, you get no room choices or no-go zones. It's the only independent review we found, so we haven't seen a second test to back this up or contradict it.

Cleans well, slowly
Digital Citizen was happy with how well it cleaned, especially on Medium or Turbo suction, but frustrated by its speed: about 2 minutes per square metre, roughly twice as slow as mid-range robots. Higher suction also made it much louder and drained the battery faster. It suits a small flat you can leave it to clean while you're out, not a large home.
No map, no no-go zones
Without a laser, the E10 works out its route afresh every time. Digital Citizen found you can't store a map in the app, can't pick rooms and can't draw no-go zones, so shutting a door is the only way to keep it out. Xiaomi lists scheduling, remote control and adjustable suction, which covers the basics if you're happy with the same whole-floor clean each time.
Clear the floor first
With only simple sensors, it got stuck more often than pricier robots in Digital Citizen's home and needed rescuing, and it struggled with cables. Its low body did let it clean under kitchen cabinets. Pick up cables and small objects before each run, or expect to come home to a robot waiting for help.
Upkeep falls to you
The shared tank fills up after one or two runs, Digital Citizen found, so emptying it is a regular job. On the High water setting, the mop cloth helps with light wiping but isn't a proper mop. Recharging from empty took about 330 minutes, and Turbo with High water roughly halved the claimed 110-minute runtime.

Should you buy the Robot Vacuum E10?
Best for: Small, tidy flats needing regular vacuuming. Skip it if: You want to choose individual rooms or set areas to avoid in an app.
Consider the E10 only if you want scheduled vacuuming for a small, uncluttered space and don't mind emptying the bin often. If you want to pick rooms, set no-go zones or clean a bigger home, spend a little more on a mapping robot such as the Xiaomi S40 or the Roborock Q7 M5.
The E10 is an entry-level Xiaomi that uses a gyroscope and bump, wall and cliff sensors instead of a laser scanner, cleaning in a zigzag pattern. Its 8cm body is low, but measure your furniture gaps and allow extra room. The removable unit combines a dust bin and water tank for vacuuming and a clip-on mop cloth; it is not one chamber used interchangeably for dirt and water.
The price of that simplicity is control. With no saved map, you can't draw no-go zones or send it to one room; you shut doors instead. It covers the floor slowly, gets stuck more often than mapping robots and has a small bin.

Does it fit under low furniture?
Its 8cm height can help, but measure the narrowest gap and leave room for movement. the specifications gives that body height, and Digital Citizen found it cleaned under low kitchen cabinets. That's one home's cabinets, though, and it doesn't tell you it will fit under your furniture.
Will it avoid cables and pet mess?
No. It has bump and wall sensors but no camera or obstacle recognition, per the specifications, and Digital Citizen found it struggled with cables and got stuck more often than mapping robots. Keep the floor clear and keep it away from pet accidents.
Can I stop it going into certain rooms?
Only by shutting the door. Digital Citizen found the E10 can't save a map, so there are no no-go zones or room selection in the app. It always tries to clean everywhere it can reach.
How often do I have to empty or refill anything?
Digital Citizen emptied the dust bin after one or two runs. The removable assembly also contains the water tank, per the specifications, which you refill separately as needed. The dock only charges, so bin emptying, water filling and washing the mop cloth all remain manual jobs.
How big a home can it clean?
A small one. Xiaomi claims 110 minutes in standard mode, per the specifications, but Digital Citizen measured about 2 minutes per square metre and found Turbo with High water roughly halved the runtime. It also takes about five and a half hours to recharge.
