What we know
The Maytronics (US) and Maytronics (Australia) listings describe a corded dealer model with two active brushes, Wi-Fi app control, a weekly scheduler, pick-up mode and a three-year warranty. Robotic Reviews says it tested the earlier US model in its test pools and reports full floor, wall and waterline coverage, an easy basket and an easy app, but calls it expensive next to Dolphin's online models. That site is linked to a Dolphin dealer, so we don't count it as an independent test.

App, scheduler and pick-up mode
The M600 connects over Wi-Fi to the MyDolphin Plus app, with a weekly scheduler and several cleaning cycles, per Maytronics (US). Maytronics (Australia) lists modes including floor-only, fast and waterline-only. Pick-up mode parks it at the pool edge so it's easy to lift out. Robotic Reviews found the app easy to set up and use, and says Wi-Fi lets you control it from anywhere.
Filters and handling
It uses a top-loading multi-layer basket with an ultra-fine filter in the box and a full-filter warning, per Maytronics (US). Robotic Reviews found the basket easy to clean. At 11.5kg, per Maytronics (Australia), it's heavier than Dolphin's entry models, so the included caddy is useful for moving it between the pool and storage. That's the maker's dry figure; it'll be heavier full of water.
Priced as a dealer model
Robotic Reviews recommends it but says store-only Dolphins are usually dearer than online models with similar features, and points to the Premier and Sigma. Its three-year warranty, per Maytronics (Australia), is longer than the two years on Dolphin's cheaper online models. Compare what your local dealer offers, warranty terms included, before you decide.
What's not checked yet
Our search found dealer pages, refurbished-stock listings, one owner forum thread we couldn't open, and Robotic Reviews, a review site linked to a Dolphin dealer. So the basics are still open: how well the waterline scrubbing works, how it copes with steps, and how the app behaves over a season. Maytronics also now lists a 2026 version, while that review covers the earlier one.
Our take
Should you buy the M600?
Best for: In-ground pools whose owners want scheduled cleaning from an app. Skip it if: You want a stronger record in independent tests before buying.
Consider it if you buy through a local pool shop and want app control, waterline scrubbing and a longer warranty, knowing nobody independent has checked it. The Dolphin Premier also scrubs the waterline and has test results behind it, though no app, and the cordless Aiper Scuba V3 is a tested option without a cable.
The M600 is in Dolphin's M-line, the range sold through pool shops and dealers rather than online. It plugs into the mains, scrubs the floor, walls and waterline with two active brushes, and connects over Wi-Fi to the MyDolphin Plus app for scheduling and remote control. Maytronics rates it for pools up to fifteen metres and includes a caddy, a swivel on the cable and an ultra-fine filter.
Robotic Reviews says it tested the earlier US model in its test pools and liked the basket and the app, but that site is linked to a Dolphin dealer, and it also calls the M600 expensive next to Dolphin's online models. The three-year warranty is longer than the two years on Dolphin's cheaper online robots, so compare what your local dealer offers. It isn't sold in the UK.

Alternatives
Other robotic pool cleaners to compare.

Premier
Why consider it: Bob Vila rated its waterline cleaning and filters, and it offers a leaf bag among three filter options.
The compromise: It has no app, and it's heavy to lift out of the water.

Scuba V3
Why consider it: Three testers found its camera genuinely helps this cordless robot find and clear debris on floors, walls and the waterline.
The compromise: You get about 10 minutes to collect it after a run before it sinks.

EON 100
Why consider it: Testers found this cordless Dolphin cleans floors and the waterline well and never got stuck.
The compromise: It's heavy to lift out, and it gives steps only a quick pass.
