iGLASSBOT W100
Limited evidenceRead the findings →Mamibot's cheapest round window robot, with two spinning pads and a small sprayer. Buyers like that it reaches glass they can't. It often needs second passes, though, leaves dirty corners and is noisy.

What we know
What we have on the W100 is Mamibot's product page and buyer reviews on DNS buyers, a big Russian-language electronics retailer, as no magazine or lab has tested it. Most of those buyers are glad it reaches glass they can't, but many report running it twice, changing dirty pads often, wiping corners by hand and a noise like a vacuum cleaner. A few had a sprayer stop working. We haven't verified these reports.
Reaches glass you can't, often twice
Buyers on DNS buyers mostly used it where a cloth won't reach: balcony glass, outside panes and windows coated in road or building dust. Several say it did the job but needed a second run, and on very dirty glass some switched to fresh pads for every pane. It saves you the stretching and the risk, not the time. If your windows get grimy, plan on two passes and a stack of spare cloths.
Corners stay dirty
The W100 moves on two round pads, and circles can't fill a square corner. Buyers on DNS buyers report corners left dirty, and some wipe those and the bottom edge by hand afterwards. Mamibot says its sensors spot window locks so it doesn't stall on them, but says nothing about how well it covers corners. Keep a cloth handy for the last few centimetres.
Loud, and some sprayers failed
Several DNS buyers buyers compare the noise to a vacuum cleaner. Others had a spray outlet stop working, leaving only a weak mist, and one mentions it wrapping its own cord around itself. That's a handful of owners, not a failure rate, but find out where you'd get spare pads and a repair before you buy. Mamibot doesn't publish a noise figure.
Not for frameless glass
Mamibot fits pressure sensors that make the robot back away from the edge of frameless glass, yet in the same breath says it doesn't recommend the W100 for frameless panes. It also rules out cleaning the underside of horizontal glass and says the surface should be tilted more than 25 degrees. Think of it as a robot for framed, upright windows.
A battery for emergencies only
The W100 runs from the mains, so you'll need a socket near the window. Mamibot says a built-in backup battery keeps the suction going for up to 30 minutes if the power cuts out, with an alarm, and a 4m nylon rope is the second line of defence. Tie the rope to something solid indoors before sending it up an outside window.
Our take
Should you buy the iGLASSBOT W100?
Best for: Ordinary framed windows with sockets nearby. Skip it if: Your windows are frameless.
Consider it only if you want a cheap way to get a robot onto high or awkward framed windows and don't mind wiping corners and swapping pads. Skip it for frameless glass, which Mamibot itself advises against. If you'd rather have independent tests behind your purchase, the Ecovacs WINBOT mini had two German home tests that found mostly streak-free glass, and the HOBOT 388 is a tested round-pad robot with a fine mist.
The W100 is the entry model in Mamibot's iGLASSBOT window range. Mamibot calls it a promotional edition, launched in 2024, and its sixth-generation round cleaner. It moves on two spinning cloth pads, mists water from a 50ml tank through outlets that fire in the direction it's travelling, and you drive it from an app or a remote. It runs from the mains, with a small backup battery that keeps it stuck to the glass for up to 30 minutes if the power fails. The W168 is the same round idea with a bigger tank and a longer rope.
The trade-off is finish and fuss. Round pads can't reach into square corners, and buyers report changing cloths often and running it twice on dirty glass. Mamibot itself doesn't recommend it for frameless panes, even though it has edge sensors. Buyers also compare the noise to a vacuum cleaner.
Before you buy
The questions people ask about this one
Will it work on frameless glass?
Mamibot says not. The W100 has pressure sensors that pull it back from a frameless edge, but the specifications says frameless glass isn't recommended for this model. If you have frameless panes or shower screens, look at a model Mamibot sells for frameless glass, such as the W120-DP.
What happens if the power cuts out?
According to the specifications, a backup battery keeps the suction going for up to 30 minutes and sounds an alarm, and a 4m nylon safety rope comes in the box. It won't carry on cleaning on battery. No one has tested the backup yet, so always tie the rope off.
Does it leave streaks or edges?
Edges, yes. Buyers on DNS buyers say corners stay dirty, and some finish the bottom edge by hand. Several needed a second pass or fresh pads on dirty glass. No controlled test of streaking has been published that we could find.
Can I use it on upstairs outside windows?
That's what most buyers on DNS buyers bought it for, including balcony and outside glass they couldn't reach safely. the specifications lists a 4m safety rope and a backup battery. One buyer still worried about it falling from a high window, so anchor the rope first.
How long does it take to do one window?
Mamibot doesn't give a speed on the specifications. One buyer on DNS buyers reckoned about ten minutes for a standard window, but several ran it twice on dirty glass, which doubles that. We haven't found a test that timed it.
Alternatives
Other window-cleaning robots to compare.

WINBOT MINI
Why consider it: Two German home tests found it left small and medium panes mostly streak-free after one pass.
The compromise: It needs a socket nearby too, and one tester saw dirt left in the last millimetres at the frame.

388
Why consider it: Another round-pad robot with a fine mist, and two tests got clear glass from a dry pass then a wet one.
The compromise: It's slow and loud, it leaves the corners, and both tests date from 2021.

WINBOT mini 2
Why consider it: Compact, and a tester found it cleared fingerprints and dust and reached right to the frame.
The compromise: It's loud, slow on dried-on marks, and you'll stand beside it the whole time.
