P70 Pro Ultra
3 independent reviewsRead the findings →The top of MOVA's mid-range P series, with camera obstacle-dodging and a self-cleaning mop dock. It suits mostly hard floors and mops strongly. It's inconsistent with pet hair, which can tangle the brush.

What reviewers found
Three tests. Vacuum Wars bought one and ran its full studio tests over a few weeks; Basic Tutorials tested it in a 50m² flat with a dog; Just A Dad Approved used it for three months in a family home. All three rate its obstacle avoidance, dock and mopping. Hair is the sticking point: Vacuum Wars measured weak pet-hair pickup and heavy tangling, while Just A Dad Approved found the tangle test went well. Basic Tutorials saw small, stringy things still catch it out.

Hard floors
Reviewers rate it highlyVacuum Wars found excellent surface sweeping, with debris picked up without scattering, and rates it best suited to mostly hard floors. Just A Dad Approved found the side brush reached fully into corners over three months of family use.
Carpet and rugs
Mixed resultsBuried grit is a strength: Vacuum Wars measured well-above-average sand removal and Just A Dad Approved found carpet cleaning great. But Basic Tutorials needed a second run to clear fine salt, basil and pet undercoat from a dark rug, and Vacuum Wars doubts it suits carpet-heavy homes with pets.
Pet hair
Mixed resultsVacuum Wars measured weak pickup of flattened pet hair and heavy long-hair tangling, while Just A Dad Approved recommends it for pet homes. Basic Tutorials needed a second pass for dog undercoat. MOVA's separate anti-tangle brush is worth considering for long hair.
Mopping
Reviewers rate it highlyVacuum Wars found stain removal above average while leaving about half the usual water, and Just A Dad Approved credits the pads' strong down-pressure. Basic Tutorials saw cola and mustard lifted, though greasy cream smeared at first and needed several passes.
Navigation and obstacles
Reviewers rate it highlyVacuum Wars found its obstacle avoidance among the best it has tested, and Just A Dad Approved rated avoidance amazing. Basic Tutorials found slippers, keys and toys handled well but saw it drag a shoelace and run over a hair tie, so pick up thin things.
Dock and upkeep
Reviewers rate it highlyVacuum Wars called the dock a major advantage, emptying, hot-washing and drying the pads, dosing detergent and leaving the mops behind for carpet. Just A Dad Approved found it about as hands-off as robots get, and Basic Tutorials liked the refillable detergent module.
App and software
Reviewers rate it highlyBasic Tutorials found the app quick to set up and not overloaded, with room-by-room water and suction settings. Vacuum Wars also found it precise and flexible, with no-go zones, no-mop zones and live camera view.
Noise
Not enough evidenceOnly Basic Tutorials judged noise: quiet on low settings, but clearly loud on its maximum suction mode. No other review we use commented on how loud the robot or dock are.
Reliability and support
Not enough evidenceOnly Just A Dad Approved ran it long-term, for three months without trouble, and noted it shares cheap, easy-to-find parts with the P10 Pro. None of the other reviews we use has reported on durability or support.
Value
Mixed resultsBasic Tutorials liked its price-to-performance balance at the review price. Just A Dad Approved compared it with the P10 Pro Gen 2, a different model from the original P10 Pro Ultra listed below, and questioned paying more for similar cleaning, so check both the exact generation and current offers.
Verdicts come from independent, hands-on, finished reviews. An area needs at least two of them before we say more than “Not enough evidence”. We don't score robots ourselves. How this works
Excellent at avoiding clutter, mostly
Vacuum Wars recorded 22 of 24 objects avoided, against an average of 16, which puts it in the top tier of everything it has tested. Just A Dad Approved rated its avoidance amazing. Basic Tutorials found it handled a slipper, keys and a dog toy well and kept a respectful distance from its dog, but it dragged a shoelace until a mop came off, and ran over an earplug and a hair tie. Big clutter is fine; pick up small stringy things.
Pet hair and tangles split the testers
Vacuum Wars measured 49% pickup of flattened pet hair from carpet and found 36% of long hair wrapped around the brush. Just A Dad Approved reported a better tangle result and recommended it for pet homes. Basic Tutorials needed a second pass for dog undercoat. Pickup and tangling are separate tests, so a good tangle result doesn't cancel out weak carpet pickup. A separate cutting brush is available, but none of these tests show it fixes both problems.
Strong mopping with little water
Vacuum Wars scored stain removal above average with relatively little water left behind. Basic Tutorials removed cola and mustard, but greasy cream smeared first and needed several passes. Just A Dad Approved praised the pads' downward pressure, and Basic Tutorials saw the extending mop get closer to skirting boards after several runs. That's good news for everyday mopping, though greasy spills may take extra work.
A dock that does nearly everything
Vacuum Wars praised automatic dust emptying, pad cleaning and drying, detergent dosing and the option to leave mops in the dock. MOVA claims a 100°C heater for its dryboard system MOVA, but that's the maker's figure, not a measured water temperature at the pads. Basic Tutorials liked the refillable detergent module but still wiped the washing tray. You'll also refill clean water, empty dirty water and replace dust bags.
Carpet grit yes, big homes less so
Despite below-average suction and airflow in its measurements, Vacuum Wars found it removed 91% of sand buried in carpet, well above average. Battery efficiency was below average, though, and it estimates about 1,070 sq ft per charge; it does recharge and resume. Just A Dad Approved warns it rides on standard wheels and clears about 2cm, so taller thresholds stop it. Basic Tutorials found it loud on its maximum setting.
Our take
Should you buy the P70 Pro Ultra?
Best for: Homes with hard floors and clutter to steer around. Skip it if: Pet hair embedded in carpet is your main cleaning problem.
Consider it for mostly hard floors if you want strong mopping and a dock that handles pad washing and drying. Clear thin cables and small toys first, and keep up with water tanks and tray cleaning. Pet-hair pickup and brush tangling produced conflicting results. The E25 tested better on carpet hair, but its wet roller clearance is a concern on deeper rugs.
The P70 Pro Ultra tops MOVA's mid-range P series, below the V models with climbing features. It has higher claimed suction than the P50, camera-based obstacle recognition and two spinning mops, one of which reaches towards skirting boards. The dock cleans and dries the pads, doses detergent and can leave the mops behind before vacuuming carpet. MOVA's 100°C figure describes its heated dryboard system, not independently measured wash-water temperature.
Vacuum Wars found its obstacle avoidance among the best it has tested, and Just A Dad Approved called it amazing, though Basic Tutorials saw it drag a shoelace until a mop came off and run over a hair tie. Pet hair splits them. Vacuum Wars measured less than half the flattened pet hair lifted from carpet and heavy long-hair tangling, while Just A Dad Approved found its tangle test went well and recommends it for pet homes, and Basic Tutorials needed a second pass for dog undercoat. Mopping is a strength, as Vacuum Wars scored stain removal above average while leaving about half the usual water, though Basic Tutorials found greasy cream smeared before it lifted. Vacuum Wars found it covers less floor per charge than average, and it rides on ordinary wheels, so Just A Dad Approved warns doorway thresholds much over 2cm will stop it. Just A Dad Approved also thinks the cheaper P10 Pro Gen 2 cleans almost as well.

The questions people ask about this one
Will it avoid cables and pet mess?
Vacuum Wars recorded 22 of 24 objects avoided, but Basic Tutorials saw a shoelace dragged until a mop came off and a hair tie run over. That's no promise it will steer round real pet waste, so check for accidents and clear thin cables before cleaning.
Can it leave the mops in the dock for carpet?
Yes. It can drop its mops at the dock before vacuuming carpet, or lift them 10.5mm, per the specifications. Basic Tutorials found the lift fine for flat rugs and preferred parking the mops for thicker ones, which Just A Dad Approved also recommends.
Can it cross rugs and raised thresholds between rooms?
MOVA claims 22mm, per the specifications. Just A Dad Approved found it clears about 2cm on its standard wheels and stops at taller thresholds. Basic Tutorials had no trouble with ordinary doorway thresholds and rug edges. If you have stepped thresholds, look at MOVA's V models.
Does it fit under low furniture?
It's listed at 10.38cm tall including the fixed turret the specifications. A gap that size isn't guaranteed clearance, so measure the lowest point under your furniture, front crossbars included, and leave room for movement. Basic Tutorials also advised checking low beds and sideboards.
How big is the dock, and is it loud?
The dock is 42 × 45.8 × 47cm, per the specifications, and Basic Tutorials describes it as large but not bulky. Emptying is audible for a few seconds, and the robot is clearly loud on its top suction setting.
Alternatives
Other robot vacuums to compare.

P10 Pro Ultra
Why consider it: Good on hard floors and runs for ages on a charge, with a full self-cleaning dock.
The compromise: All three of its tests found it weak on pet hair in carpet.

Omni E25
Why consider it: One of the best robots tested for pet hair, with a camera for cables and shoes.
The compromise: It can't keep its wet roller off deeper carpet.

P50 Pro Ultra
Why consider it: A hair-cutting brush, hot mop wash and mops it can leave in the dock.
The compromise: The two lab tests disagree about how well it cleans carpet.
