The Explorer E50 offers connected, scheduled cleaning, but the accessible feedback needs careful separation from other Explorer models. Its everyday performance is less well established than its feature list.
Scheduled cleaning and filter care
Maytronics lists a weekly timer, delayed starts and MyDolphin Plus control, with selectable cycles for the floor, walls and waterline. A top-loading multilayer basket and full-filter indicator are intended to simplify regular emptying; the cable includes a swivel. These are documented functions, rather than independently measured cleaning results.

A review page previously used for this model includes comments explicitly about the Explorer E20. Those reports cannot establish E50 reliability or missed-area patterns.
