L60 Ultra
The second model in Dreame's 2026 L60 range, with strong suction and excellent hair handling. Be careful: the US and European versions are built differently, and only the slim US one has been properly tested.
The short version
The L60 Ultra sits below the climbing L60 Pro Ultra and above the cheaper Ultra PE and FE. The dock empties the bin, washes the mop pads in very hot water and dries them. What you get beyond that depends on where you buy it. Dreame's US version has no laser on top and finds its way with depth sensors and a camera instead, which keeps it about 8.2cm tall. Dreame's German page describes a different robot under the same name: a retractable laser, 8.9cm tall with it lowered, and a lower climbing rating.
The one long-term test so far covers the slim US model. It found strong vacuuming and hair handling, but slow, cautious cleaning, maps that took a few tries, and climbing short of the claim. It's priced at $1,299.99.

Our take: Worth a look if low furniture is your main problem and you want a robot that doesn't tangle with long hair, but only the US version has been tested. We'd wait for more reviews before recommending it. If you want a slim robot with a longer track record, look at the Roborock Saros 20 or the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete.

Only one proper test so far: Just A Dad Approved, who ran the slim US version for three months in a 2,000 sq ft home. It rated hair handling and carpet cleaning highly and liked how far the thin body reaches under furniture. It found the laser-free navigation slow and fiddly at first, mopping good rather than great, and climbing short of Dreame's figure. With one reviewer, treat all of this as one person's experience.

Navigation works, but slowly
Just A Dad Approved called the US version's laser-free navigation first-generation. The first map had walls in the wrong places, and it took three mapping runs to get a good one. It cleans cautiously, takes longer than laser robots and recharges a little earlier, though it never got stuck and always made it back to the dock. If you want the fastest, most predictable runs in a big home, a laser robot is still the safer choice.
Excellent with long hair
Just A Dad Approved scored its hair tangle test 9 out of 10 and carpet cleaning 8.5, and after three months in a home with pets wasn't cutting hair off the brush. The twin-roller brush feeds long hair through rather than wrapping it. That's the strongest result in the review, and a good sign if brush-cutting is your least favourite chore.
Climbing falls short of the claim
Dreame's US page rates the US version for a 5cm two-step threshold, per the specifications. Just A Dad Approved found it cleared closer to 1.5 inches, about 3.8cm, before struggling, and stresses these are climbing wheels rather than the lifting legs on the Pro Ultra. That still covers most door bars and rug edges. For sliding-door tracks or stepped transitions, the Pro Ultra is built for the job.
Mopping and edges: decent
Just A Dad Approved scored mopping 7.5 out of 10: fine for everyday upkeep, but a big spill took about three passes. Edges were the weak spot, because the depth-sensor map places walls slightly inside where they really are. Obstacle avoidance scored 7.9, with the odd swerve round nothing at all. The dock's hot-water wash and drying keep the pads fresh, per the specifications.
The one review covers the US version (no laser turret, 8.2cm). Dreame's German page lists a different L60 Ultra with a retractable laser. A score and badge appear once a second independent test is added.

Which L60 Ultra am I buying?
It depends on the country. Dreame's US page lists a laser-free robot 82mm tall, while its German page lists a retractable-laser robot 89mm tall with the laser down, both per the specifications. The only long-term test, from Just A Dad Approved, covers the US one. Check the listing's height and navigation before ordering.
Does it fit under low furniture?
That's the point of it. The US version is about 8.2cm tall with nothing on top, per the specifications, and Just A Dad Approved found it gets under furniture Dreame robots couldn't reach before. The European version needs 8.9cm with its laser lowered.
How does it handle rugs and door bars?
Most door bars are fine. The US version is rated for a 5cm two-step threshold, per the specifications, but Just A Dad Approved saw it manage closer to 3.8cm. The mop pads lift 10.5mm over rugs and can be left in the dock. For stepped or very tall transitions, look at the Pro Ultra.
Will it avoid cables and pet mess?
Reasonably. Just A Dad Approved scored obstacle avoidance 7.9 out of 10 and said it routed round clutter reliably, with the occasional swerve at nothing. Dreame claims it recognises over 280 object types, per the specifications. With one review, keep cables and pet accidents off the floor.

Even lower at 7.98cm with no turret, and two tests found it very strong on hard floors.

Dreame's slimmest flagship, excellent at dodging clutter and able to climb tall thresholds.
