An owner who explicitly identified the W2S OMNI reported straightforward placement and app control, with one pass sufficient on ordinary glass. For very dirty windows they washed the pad and ran another pass. That is useful evidence of the cleaning routine, although an unboxing report cannot establish long-term reliability or results on every type of exterior grime.

ECOVACS lists both plugged-in and battery-powered operation for the OMNI station. That can be useful where a convenient socket is missing, but the robot remains connected to the station by its compound cable. Cordless here describes freedom from the wall socket during battery operation, not a window robot roaming without a cable.

The official minimum pane size is 30 by 40 cm, with specified glass thickness and angle limits. A window divided into many small sections is therefore a different proposition from one broad pane. Our assessment is that the station and per-pane handling make most sense where there is enough accessible glass to justify the setup.

Pad washing was the explicit recurring task in the first-use account. The official package includes reusable pads and cleaning solution, and replacement pads and solution are listed separately. We would treat this as powered assistance with wiping, rather than a complete service that cleans frames, changes panes and maintains itself.
