Vacuum Wars found strong embedded-carpet cleaning, complete pickup in its flattened-hair test and no tangles in its long-hair trial. Tom’s Guide also measured high pickup in almost all its hard-floor and carpet debris tests, though hair on wood was less successful and an embedded fabric thread remained. These are direct cleaning results, distinct from the suction specification.

Vacuum Wars measured above-average dried-stain removal with little water left behind. Tom’s Guide liked the dock’s smaller footprint and removable tray, but noted that detergent must be measured manually. It also warned that both closures on the water tanks need fastening before lifting them. The station reduces mop handling; it does not remove tank care or careful refilling.

Vacuum Wars found efficient routing but below-average obstacle avoidance and a body tall enough to limit furniture access. That difference helps explain why good open-floor test results can coexist with frustration in cluttered rooms. Floor preparation and the space between furniture legs affect how much of the advertised convenience actually reaches the household.

An owner returning the C28 after a month described hard collisions, reflective surfaces confusing the map and trouble around chair bases. They nevertheless liked its vacuuming, mopping and self-cleaning, and said Eufy accepted the return. Another C28 owner in the same discussion reported clumsy movement but good cleaning in a largely empty room. These accounts highlight layout sensitivity without establishing a general damage or failure rate.
