Galaxus tested the 1000 on a small garden with paved edging, hedges and low walls. Running its right wheels along a 10cm stone strip allowed the small side disc to cut grass that other machines left behind. EasyLawnMowing also saw a clear improvement where a previous mower left an uncut border. This advantage is best established where the robot has space to position itself alongside the edge.

Galaxus had the mower installed and mapped in around half an hour, helped by previous Mammotion experience. Automatic mapping covered 63m²; manual steering expanded that to 70m² by moving closer to a wall and umbrella stand. This is useful evidence that a successful automatic map can still leave worthwhile grass outside its working area.

EasyLawnMowing’s April 2026 test required the first mapped area to be within five metres of the dock and encountered a practical distance limit between zones. Its reviewer liked the app, navigation and obstacle avoidance overall, but reported missing positioning detail compared with the older app. Those are dated software observations: confirm current behaviour if you have a long route between separate lawns.

EasyLawnMowing found the side disc fixed at 50mm even when the main deck was lower. It also found frequent carrying awkward because of the weight, despite appreciating temporary drop-and-mow use. These observations concern the 1000 camera/NetRTK version, not the later 1500 LiDAR variant.
