TechRadar found that the retracting navigation turret and lifting chassis worked reliably in its home test. The result was access beneath furniture and over transitions that can stop a conventional robot. This advantage is most valuable when the dimensions of your furniture actually prevent other robots from reaching dirty areas.

The initial TechRadar test reported effective dog-hair cleaning and little tangling around the roller. Its later follow-up continued to rate everyday cleaning positively after regular use. Those are useful observations from a real home, although the follow-up comes from the same reviewer and should not be counted as an independent second household.

Vacuum Wars found the Saros 10 left considerably less water behind than the 10R, but was also less effective on dried stains. TechRadar likewise preferred rotating pads for stronger scrubbing. The 10 can still keep floors refreshed; buyers whose main problem is stubborn kitchen residue should weigh this trade-off carefully rather than assuming both Saros models mop identically.

TechRadar described object avoidance as inconsistent during the original test. Vacuum Wars recorded a strong result, but the 10R did better in the same obstacle course. These results support useful avoidance while leaving room for missed hazards. The retractable turret is primarily an access feature, not a guarantee that every small object will be avoided.

In the follow-up, TechRadar’s reviewer reported cleaning every other night and only a handful of occasions when the robot became lost or stuck. Automatic mop removal and dock cleaning remained valuable in a home mixing carpet and kitchen hard flooring. That longer experience is reassuring about one machine’s day-to-day usefulness; it does not establish failure rates or the quality of support for all owners.
