Beatbot iSkim Ultra
The idea is excellent for leaf-heavy pools, but owner feedback is too mixed for us to recommend it at the premium price. Navigation and debris retention need to be better.

What owners and reviewers say
One detailed owner report describes repeated sticking and loss of collected debris. It identifies concrete concerns with everyday skimming, but is not enough to establish an overall failure rate or the experience of most owners.
Boundary handling
The owner reported the skimmer pressing against edges and getting caught near fixed steps and ladders. Their experience suggests that a large sensor count alone is not proof of reliable coverage around protruding pool features.

The same account describes leaves and insects escaping during reversing or collisions, and some floating material being pushed aside before reaching the intake. Those are different problems from the basket simply filling up. Both reduce the usefulness of unattended skimming if they occur.
