L60 Ultra FE
The cheapest of Dreame's four L60 robots, with the same very hot mop-washing dock as its pricier siblings. It mopped better than the L60 Ultra PE in one lab test, but it's very poor at avoiding obstacles.

The short version
The L60 Ultra FE is the entry model in Dreame's 2026 L60 family, below the L60 Ultra PE, the L60 Ultra and the L60 Pro Ultra. The dock is the same idea throughout the range: it empties the bin into a bag, washes the two spinning mop pads in water heated to 100°C, dries them with hot air, refills the robot and adds detergent. The FE saves money on the brush, the sensors and the suction.
In the one lab test so far, those savings showed up in two places. It avoided almost nothing in an obstacle course, and it left a lot of pet hair in carpet. Its mopping and coverage, though, beat the PE. It also can't leave its mop pads in the dock, and it's only rated for low door bars.
Of the markets we cover, it's only sold in the US so far.
Our take: Consider it if your floors are mostly hard, you want strong mopping and a hot-wash dock for less, and you're happy to tidy up before every run. With only one test so far, we'd wait for more reviews. If you have pets and carpet, or a cluttered floor, the L60 Ultra PE did far better on pet hair and obstacles in the same test.

One lab test so far. Vacuum Wars measured the FE alongside the L60 Ultra PE and published its results in that review. It found the FE mopped stains well, covered the floor quickly and kept hair off the brush, but it avoided only 2 of 24 objects and lifted barely half the pet hair from carpet. No home tester has reported on it yet, so the dock, app and day-to-day reliability are untested for this model.

Very poor at avoiding clutter
Vacuum Wars recorded 2 of 24 objects avoided, the lowest obstacle-avoidance score it had ever measured, against an average of 16 and the PE's 21. The FE has a structured-light sensor rather than the PE's camera, per the specifications. In practice that means clearing cables, socks, toys and anything a pet might leave before every run, or expect rescues.
Mops better than the PE
Vacuum Wars scored it 137 on dried stains, above the 108 average and well ahead of the PE's 85. It puts down more water than the PE, though still less than the average robot, which helps with stains without soaking floors. The mop pads lift 10.5mm on carpet, per the specifications, but can't be dropped off in the dock.
Carpet fine, pet hair weak
Vacuum Wars measured 80% of sand removed from carpet, a little above the 78% average and well short of the PE's 94%. Flattened pet hair was the clear weak spot: 51% lifted against an 82% average and the PE's 100%. Its cutting brush did well on tangles, with 7% hair wrap against a 26% average. For carpet homes with shedding pets, the PE is the better buy.
Quick coverage, low thresholds
Vacuum Wars measured it covering the floor faster than average and faster than the PE, though its battery lasted a little less per percentage point than average. Dreame rates it for a single 2cm threshold, per the specifications, lower than the PE's 2.2cm. None of the testers has checked how it climbs in practice, so measure your door bars.

Will it avoid cables and pet mess?
No. Vacuum Wars recorded only 2 of 24 objects avoided, the lowest it had ever measured. It uses a structured-light sensor without a camera, per the specifications. Clear the floor before every run and keep it away from areas where a pet might have had an accident.
Can it leave the mops in the dock for carpet?
No. Dreame lists mop removal as unavailable on the FE, per the specifications, so the pads stay on. They lift 10.5mm when it finds carpet. Vacuum Wars didn't test how dry rugs stay, so use no-mop zones on deep or pale rugs.
How does it handle rugs and door bars?
Dreame rates it for a single 2cm threshold, per the specifications, and Vacuum Wars notes it has a simpler threshold system than the PE. Nobody has measured its climbing yet. Standard door bars should be fine; anything taller or stepped points to the L60 Pro Ultra.
How often do I have to empty or refill anything?
Not often. The dock empties the 250ml bin into a 3.2-litre bag that Dreame says lasts up to 100 days, and holds 4.5 litres of clean and 4 litres of dirty water, per the specifications. Vacuum Wars didn't report on the dock's day-to-day upkeep.
