The AU Review found QR-code setup straightforward and liked the app’s adjustable driving layout and speed. Audio was clear with little delay in that test. The camera and remote control made checking on pets practical without requiring a separate fixed camera for every viewing angle.

The reviewer’s dogs bumped the robot without stopping it, but elevated surfaces sometimes trapped it. That distinction is useful: a sturdy small body does not mean it can negotiate steps or every room transition. The favorable battery account reflected that reviewer’s intermittent use, not weeks of continuous driving.

The reviewer’s small dogs initially needed time to get used to it. A separate owner who explicitly identified ROLA Mini similarly valued remote monitoring but said their cat was still wary. Neither account supports assuming the robot automatically entertains or reassures every animal.
