Enabot EBO SE 2
A sensible inexpensive mobile pet camera rather than a true AI companion. The 2K camera, Wi-Fi 6 and improved docking make it a useful upgrade over the old EBO SE, but long-term independent owner evidence is still early.
The new version adds a sharper camera, more stable Wi-Fi, better auto-docking and genuinely useful pet-play features such as a laser pointer.
It remains a small remote-controlled camera robot with limited obstacle clearance, and there is not yet enough long-term owner feedback to judge reliability.

What the evidence shows
The SE 2 is designed for remote viewing, two-way audio and pet play in a compact mobile body. Its practical limits are clearer from the documentation than its long-term performance.
Remote contact and viewing
Enabot lists a 2K camera, night vision, two-way audio, motion alerts and recording playback. The intended routine is driving the robot to check a room or pet, then communicating through the app. The manufacturer’s descriptions do not establish connection stability or recording quality in a particular household.

The documented obstacle clearance is 6 mm. That is a meaningful limit when planning routes across thresholds and rugs, even though the robot is promoted for whole-home mobility. Automatic recharging and self-righting are listed features, but their success rate was not established by a checked SE 2 household review.

The pet-play description includes a separately sold feather accessory. Enabot also documents multi-user access, permission management, a one-click off control and do-not-disturb scheduling. These are relevant setup choices for a camera shared by a family; they are not evidence that every advertised play feature is included in the base purchase.
