A capable everyday hard-floor cleaner, but the roller-mop upgrade is not an automatic win. Weak stain results in one major test and carpet-hair limitations keep it off our default shortlist for those jobs.

What reviewers found

The Curv 2 Flow is better supported as an everyday vacuum than as a major mopping upgrade. Its new roller design did not translate into strong dried-stain removal in one detailed test, while carpet hair and edge pickup remain qualifications in another.

Vacuuming and hair are separate questions

RTINGS found effective pickup over open hard-floor areas, with some material left near edges. Vacuum Wars was more enthusiastic about deep carpet cleaning and resistance to hair wrapping. RTINGS nevertheless found embedded carpet-hair removal weak. A brush that stays free of tangles is convenient, but it does not prove the hair has been lifted out of the rug.

The roller-mop result disappoints

Vacuum Wars recorded poor dried-stain removal even after raising the water setting. It also measured very little leftover water. That combination may leave floors less wet, but should not be presented as proof of a more thorough wash. Buyers upgrading mainly for tougher kitchen marks should compare observed results rather than assuming a roller is automatically better than pads.

Carpets and clutter

RTINGS found carpet edges and some obstacle situations needed intervention, including inconsistent pet-waste avoidance. The roller cover and lifting system are useful design features, but they do not settle the quality of the whole cleaning run. Check rug boundaries and small floor hazards before leaving it to a schedule.

Where it makes sense

The station automates much of the daily dust and mop routine, and RTINGS found running noise unobtrusive. Our reading is a plausible option for open hard-floor spaces where convenience matters, with a weaker case for demanding carpet hair or dried stains. Keep Curv, Curv 2 Pro and Curv 2 Flow separate when comparing reviews and offers.

Hair-tangle resistance and carpet-hair removal are different tests. The evidence does not establish that a firmware change has fixed the reported mopping result.
