Our take
Roborock Qrevo Pro
Choose it for automated hard-floor mopping at a good price. Its extending mop is useful, but the Pro badge does not bring strong small-object avoidance. We would look more carefully at alternatives for busy floors or substantial carpet pet hair.
Extending mop reaches nearer walls. Hot-water pad washing.
Small-object avoidance is weak. Carpet-hair results vary between tests.
Tidy hard-floor homes wanting regular mopping and hot-water pad care.
Busy floors with small objects or substantial pet hair in carpets.
- Extending edge mop
- Hot-water pad washing
- Mapped cleaning and full-service dock
What reviewers found
The Qrevo Pro is strongest on hard floors and mop upkeep. Two testing outlets found useful cleaning ability but highlighted weak edges, small-object avoidance or docking behaviour. It suits a reasonably clear floor plan better than a buyer expecting the Pro name to mean trouble-free autonomy.
Hard-floor cleaning is the consistent positive
RTINGS found strong hard-floor pickup and good stain cleaning. Modern Castle also achieved very high hardwood debris removal. Both were less convincing on finer material embedded in carpet. The most defensible use is frequent vacuuming and mopping of hard floors, with a separate deeper carpet clean when needed.
[1][2]Hair results are not a settled consensus
Modern Castle collected most pet hair in its test, while RTINGS found carpet-hair performance poor. Long hair also tangled during Modern Castle testing. We would not collapse these different outcomes into a confident recommendation for every pet owner. A trial on the particular rugs and shedding pattern in your home matters more than a single favourable score.
[1][2]An extending mop does not fix all edges
RTINGS describes the swing-out mop as the main change from the standard Qrevo and rates mopping positively. Modern Castle nevertheless found substantial edge debris remaining. Wet cleaning reach and vacuum pickup are separate tasks; the moving mop should not be interpreted as proof that skirting-board dust disappears.
[1][2]Leave room for setup and occasional correction
Modern Castle reported initial mapping and docking trouble despite liking the app’s controls. RTINGS found small-object avoidance especially weak on carpet. The station reduces routine emptying and mop care, but that benefit is greatest in a stable, uncluttered layout. Our conclusion is to buy it for cleaning convenience rather than assuming all navigation weaknesses have been solved.
