What reviewers found
RTINGS, Robotobzor and InsideHook all liked the mopping and the dock. RTINGS and Robotobzor found it stronger on hard floors than carpet, and poor at avoiding small objects. InsideHook had far fewer collisions in its own home. That's the biggest split between them, though each ran its cleaning tests in different conditions. Either way, tidy the floor before you leave it running rather than trusting it to spot every hazard.

Hard floors
Reviewers rate it highlyRTINGS found great hard-floor pickup of fine, medium and large debris, with only a little left in corners after the side brush scattered some at first. Robotobzor also found it did well on laminate, leaving a bit in corners.
Carpet and rugs
Mixed resultsRobotobzor found low carpet cleaned thoroughly but medium pile less well. RTINGS found the single rubber roller can't dig fine material out of the pile, and it was worse along edges.
Pet-hair pickup and brush tangles
Limited carpet pickup; little wrapping in one testRTINGS left a noticeable amount of hair in low-pile carpet, while Robotobzor found no hair round the main roller and only a little on the side brush. So the brush resists tangles, but hair can still stay on the floor.
Mopping
Reviewers rate it highlyRTINGS rated stain cleaning good and effective along walls and into corners, and InsideHook found floors noticeably cleaner without being left too wet. Robotobzor saw the swinging pad close the gap to skirting boards, though dried stains took about seven passes.
Navigation and obstacles
Reviewers found problemsRTINGS rated small-object avoidance poor, especially on carpet, and Robotobzor's pre-release sample ran over fake pet mess, a cable and a sock. InsideHook had only one incident in a cluttered flat, but plan on tidying first anyway.
Dock and upkeep
Reviewers rate it highlyRTINGS found the station handles emptying, refilling and hot washing and drying the pads, Robotobzor found the pads came out much cleaner, and InsideHook couldn't imagine going back, though the base takes up a lot of room.
App and software
Not enough evidenceOnly InsideHook judged the app, finding it pretty intuitive for custom routines, rooms and zones. No other qualifying review has looked at it yet.
Noise
Reviewers rate it highlyRobotobzor measured 55 to 67dB depending on mode and called it quiet for its power, and RTINGS also found it runs quietly. InsideHook found deep carpet cleaning a bit loud but no worse than other robots.
Reliability and support
Not enough evidenceNo qualifying review has run it long-term or judged Roborock's support yet.
Value
Reviewers rate it highlyRobotobzor called it the optimal Qrevo for price, cleaning and features, and InsideHook found it a splurge but worth the investment for a larger home.
Verdicts come from independent, hands-on, finished reviews. An area needs at least two of them before we say more than “Not enough evidence”. We don't score robots ourselves. How this works
Excellent on hard floors, weaker on carpet
RTINGS found great hard-floor pickup. The side brush scattered debris at first, but the robot went on to collect fine, medium and large material, leaving only a little in corners. Carpet is another story. RTINGS says the single rubber roller can't dig fine material out of the pile and the suction can't pull it up on its own, and it's worse along edges. Robotobzor found low carpet cleaned thoroughly and medium pile less well. If you have deep rugs, keep a normal vacuum handy.
Weak on pet hair in carpet
RTINGS rated pet-hair pickup only passable. The roller lifted some hair out of low carpet but pressed a fair amount into it and left it behind, so RTINGS calls it acceptable rather than good for pet owners. There's an upside for maintenance: Robotobzor found no hair wound round the main roller after its test, only a little on the side brush. It stays easy to look after, but a heavily shedding pet on carpet will outpace it.
The swing-out mop earns its place
RTINGS rated the stain cleaning good and found the mopping effective right along walls and into corners, which is what the swinging pad is for. Robotobzor saw the gap between the pad and the skirting board disappear, and it shifted dried coffee and sauce, though that took about seven passes. InsideHook found floors noticeably cleaner and not left too wet. For daily kitchen and hallway mopping, this is the reason to choose it over the cheaper Qrevo S.
Tidy up before it runs
RTINGS rated obstacle handling poor. It spots large objects in a bare room but is awful with small ones, especially on carpet, and it sometimes dragged socks or sucked them up. Robotobzor's sample avoided only one of six test objects, running over fake pet mess, a cable and a sock, though it was a pre-release unit. InsideHook had a much better time, with a single incident in a cluttered home. Nobody has explained the gap, so plan on a quick tidy first.
A dock that does most chores
The tank-based dock empties dust, refills the robot, washes the pads in hot water and dries them. Dirty wash water goes into a tank you empty yourself. Robotobzor liked the removable wash tray. InsideHook found the dock convenient but bulky, and still cleaned the brush and filter regularly. Where a plumbed version is sold, it installs and drains differently.
This covers the Qrevo Pro. The Qrevo S, Qrevo MaxV and Qrevo Master are different models with different brushes and sensors.
Our take
Should you buy the Qrevo Pro?
Best for: Homes with hard floors where dirt gathers along room edges. Skip it if: Pet hair embedded in carpet is your main cleaning problem.
Buy it for a mostly hard-floored home where you want mopping that gets right to the edges, and you don't mind picking things up off the floor before it runs. If most of your floor is carpet, or you have a pet that sheds, look at the Qrevo Master instead: its twin rollers impressed testers on rugs. For stronger edge cleaning on hard floors, the Qrevo Curv is the better Roborock.
The Qrevo Pro adds an extending mop pad and hot-water pad washing to the original Qrevo design. It also has a higher advertised suction figure. Compare the exact regional versions when checking dock and mop features.
What you give up is at the front and underneath. There's a single rubber roller rather than a pair, and a simpler obstacle sensor rather than the camera that recognises objects on the pricier models. Testing shows the result: very good on hard floors and at mopping, less good at pulling fine dirt and hair out of carpet, and poor at steering round socks and cables.
Before you buy
The questions people ask about this one
Will it avoid cables and pet mess?
Don't count on it. RTINGS found small-object avoidance poor, especially on carpet, and Robotobzor's pre-release sample ran over a cable, a sock and fake pet mess. Pick things up before a run, and don't leave it going unsupervised around a puppy.
Does it fit under low furniture?
Only if the gap is about 10cm or more. The robot is 9.65cm tall, per the specifications, and the lowest gap RTINGS saw it clear was 10cm. InsideHook found it got under almost all of their furniture, but measure your sofa first.
Can it keep wet mops off my carpet?
Mostly. The pads lift 10mm when it detects carpet, and it can vacuum carpets before it wets the mops, per the specifications. Robotobzor points out you can also tell it to avoid carpets altogether while mopping, which is the safer setting for thicker rugs.
Can it get over rugs and the raised strips between rooms?
RTINGS saw it cross a 1.9cm threshold and Robotobzor managed 2cm, so check the height and shape of your doorways against those. The Pro lacks the lifting hardware some later models have, so anything taller may keep it out of a room.
How much room does the dock need, and how noisy is it?
The listed dimensions are roughly 34cm wide, 49cm deep and 52cm tall, and you'll need extra room to dock and reach the tanks. Robotobzor measured the robot at 55–67dB depending on the cleaning setting, but that doesn't cover the dock's emptying, washing or drying cycles.
How often do I have to empty or refill anything?
The water side needs more attention than the dust bag. With the standard dock you still refill clean water, empty dirty water and clean the tray. InsideHook cleaned the brush and filter about every two weeks in its home. Follow the maintenance guide, and check more often if it picks up a lot of dirt and hair.
Alternatives
Other robot vacuums to compare.

Qrevo Curv
Why consider it: RTINGS and TechRadar found it excellent on hard floors, with an extending side brush that cleans right to the edges.
The compromise: Testers split on carpet and rugs, and it still misses small objects such as phone cables.

Qrevo S5V
Why consider it: Vacuum Wars and GearLab both found it mops well, and its dock empties the bin and washes and dries the pads.
The compromise: It doesn't heat the wash water, testers split on pet hair, and both flagged weak obstacle handling.

L40 Ultra
Why consider it: An extending brush and mop plus a full station, and TechRadar's reviewer was delighted with it on animal hair.
The compromise: RTINGS found much weaker pickup, and the roller in the box varies between offers.
