Saros 20 Flow
The roller-mop member of Roborock's Saros 20 family. Early testers rate its vacuuming and hair handling very highly, but it leaves a strip along walls and missed small objects in one test.

The short version
The Saros 20 Flow is the third version of Roborock's 2026 flagship. The standard Saros 20 spins two round mop pads and the Sonic vibrates a flat one; this model uses a long roller that's rinsed with clean water as it goes, a bit like a floor washer. It's Roborock's second roller-mop robot after the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow, with much more claimed suction, a laser that sinks into the body for low furniture and hardware for climbing tall door bars.
The trade-off is edges. A roller can't reach right into corners, and every tester so far marked it down there.
In Europe it's sold as the Saros 20 Flow Complete, which is the same robot with spare dust bags, filters, brushes and cleaning solution in the box.
Our take: Buy it if you have mostly hard floors, a long-haired pet and door bars between rooms, and you want a mop that keeps rinsing itself rather than pushing dirty water around. If you want spotless corners, the rotating-mop Saros 20 reaches further. If your floor is often scattered with small toys or you have an accident-prone pet, wait for more tests of the obstacle avoidance.

What reviewers found
Three German home tests so far, all of the European Flow Complete: SmartHomeAssistent, home&smart and Testsieger TV. All three rate the vacuuming and hair handling very highly. They disagree on how good the mopping is and on obstacle avoidance. All three agree the robot leaves corners and wall edges less clean than the rest of the floor.

Strong mopping, weak edges
Testsieger TV saw coffee gone in one pass and ketchup in two, and called it the best roller-mop robot on the market. home&smart found it reliably lifted dried, greasy and muddy marks. SmartHomeAssistent was cooler, grading the mopping only satisfactory, though it cleared coffee stains fully. The shared complaint is edges: Testsieger TV measured a gap of about 10mm at walls, home&smart called corner cleaning its one real weakness, and SmartHomeAssistent scored edges poorly. Expect a clean open floor and the odd wipe along skirting boards.
Excellent vacuuming and hair handling
SmartHomeAssistent measured near-perfect pickup on hard floors and strong results on ordinary carpet, with hair fully cleared from both. Deep-pile carpet was noticeably weaker, for dirt and for hair. Testsieger TV measured almost total pickup on carpet and found no hair wrapped round the brushes. home&smart was impressed with long pet hair too. If you have a long-haired pet, you should spend very little time cutting hair off brushes.
Avoidance depends on the obstacle
Testsieger TV scored it 9 out of 10 on its obstacle course. SmartHomeAssistent was far less impressed: out of 16 objects, it ran into a drawing pad, a cat toy, a Lego brick and a small piece of fake pet mess. The difference seems to come from small, flat objects, which SmartHomeAssistent deliberately includes. If you have children's toys or an accident-prone pet, clear the floor first.
Climbing works, within limits
SmartHomeAssistent watched it clear a 5.5cm threshold using its extending wheel arms, which ties the best result on its course, but found the chassis-lift setting made no difference in testing. Testsieger TV tried a 4cm step, and it got over. Nobody has tested the advertised 8.8cm, which applies to a two-step threshold. Most door bars and rug edges shouldn't be a problem.
A dock that stays clean
SmartHomeAssistent gave the dock full marks and noted its dirty-water tray stayed clean and dry, because the roller is washed inside the robot. Testsieger TV rated it low-maintenance compared with rivals, though the roller takes about four hours to dry. You still refill clean water, empty dirty water and change dust bags, but the European box includes spares to get you started.
All tests so far are German reviews of the European Flow Complete. The US Saros 20 Flow is the same robot without the extra consumables.

The questions people ask about this one
Does it clean right into corners?
Not fully. Testsieger TV measured a gap of about 10mm along walls and noted the side brush doesn't extend. home&smart and SmartHomeAssistent also marked it down for corners and edges. The open floor gets very clean; skirting boards may need an occasional wipe.
Can it keep the mop off the carpet?
Yes. SmartHomeAssistent found the roller lifts and closes itself off when the robot goes onto carpet, so rugs stay dry. It also scored strongly on ordinary carpet, though deep-pile was weaker for dirt and hair.
Does it fit under low furniture?
It's 8.98cm tall, according to the specifications, because the laser turret sinks into the body. That's about a centimetre taller than the standard Saros 20. Measure the gap under your sofa and bed; many robots need 10cm or more.
Will it avoid cables and pet mess?
Not reliably. SmartHomeAssistent saw it hit a Lego brick, a cat toy and fake pet mess, even though Testsieger TV scored it 9 out of 10 on a different course. Pick small things up before a run, especially if you have pets.
How often do I have to empty or refill anything?
The dock empties the robot for up to 65 days, adds detergent and washes the roller in hot water, per the specifications. You still empty the dirty-water tank and top up clean water. Testsieger TV found the roller takes about four hours to dry after a run.
