Qrevo Curv 2 Pro
3 independent reviewsRead the findings →A slim Roborock with a pop-down laser turret and a lifting chassis for doorway thresholds. It's excellent on carpet and fits under low furniture. Its spinning pads smear sticky spills, though, and it runs over small objects.

What reviewers found
Three home tests: TechRadar over a few weeks, Tom's Guide over nearly two weeks, and Notebookcheck. All three rate the vacuuming highly, especially on carpet, and all three praise the navigation and the Roborock app. They agree on the weak spots too: the spinning pads smear sticky spills, and small objects such as cables and laces get run over. None of the reviews we use includes a lab test yet.

Hard floors
Reviewers rate it highlyTom's Guide found it excels on hardwood, and TechRadar was generally very pleased with its hard-floor test, as was Notebookcheck. With only one side brush, TechRadar saw some debris scattered and edges left less than spotless.
Carpet and rugs
Reviewers rate it highlyTechRadar called its carpet pickup one of the best it has seen, clearing most mess in one pass and coping with thick pile. Tom's Guide found rugs noticeably cleaner, and Notebookcheck rated vacuuming especially good on carpet.
Pet hair
Reviewers rate it highlyTechRadar had no hair tangles and the dock emptied a bin packed with dog hair, and Notebookcheck found the split brush mostly kept hair from wrapping. Tom's Guide rates it for homes with lots of pet hair, though clumps gathered in one wheel.
Mopping
Mixed resultsFine for light marks, weaker on sticky spills. TechRadar saw ketchup left in slimy swirls, Tom's Guide found sticky smears and small unwiped gaps, and Notebookcheck called the mopping solid but behind roller-mop rivals.
Navigation and obstacles
Mixed resultsGetting around is excellent: Tom's Guide saw it glide under beds and between tight chair legs, and TechRadar never had it lost or stranded. But all three saw small things run over, from a phone cable for TechRadar to a shoelace for Notebookcheck.
Dock and upkeep
Reviewers rate it highlyTechRadar found the dock faultless over several weeks, always emptying the bin and leaving the mops clean. Notebookcheck singled out dropping the mops for vacuum-only runs. There's no detergent tank, which Tom's Guide confirms, so cleaner goes in by hand.
App and software
Reviewers rate it highlyTechRadar calls the Roborock app its favourite, clean and intuitive for beginners and experts alike. Tom's Guide found it the most comprehensive it has used, if a little buried for map editing, and Notebookcheck also praised it.
Noise
Mixed resultsThe dock is the loud part. Notebookcheck measured emptying at over 70dB, if brief, with mop drying under 40dB, and TechRadar also found emptying noisy. Neither reported the robot itself as loud.
Reliability and support
Not enough evidenceNone of the reviews we use has run it long-term or judged Roborock's support yet.
Value
Not enough evidenceOnly TechRadar judged value, finding it solid for buyers who want the automation and low profile, though cheaper robots clean everyday floors about as well.
Verdicts come from independent, hands-on, finished reviews. An area needs at least two of them before we say more than “Not enough evidence”. We don't score robots ourselves. How this works
Excellent on carpet
TechRadar called its carpet pickup one of the best it had seen, clearing most of the test mess in a single pass and coping with thick pile without bogging down. Tom's Guide scored it in the high 90s for cereal and cat litter and found rugs looked noticeably cleaner. Notebookcheck also found vacuuming really good, especially on carpet. If carpet is most of your floor, this is the main reason to choose it.
Slim enough for low furniture
With the turret retracted, it's listed at 7.98cm tall. Tom's Guide saw it clean beneath couches and beds, and TechRadar praised its low body. Measure the tightest gap under your own furniture and leave some room for movement and uneven floors. A gap of exactly 8cm gives almost no margin, even though the stated height is slightly lower.
Mopping leaves smears
TechRadar found it good on light marks but saw it smear ketchup. Tom's Guide also saw sticky residue and small gaps, while Notebookcheck preferred roller rivals for mopping. The pads get washed when the robot returns to the dock, not rinsed continuously as they touch the floor. These tests don't show whether more frequent trips back to wash would have stopped the smears.
Watch out for small objects
All three testers saw the same thing. TechRadar's robot ran over a small toy bone twice and a phone cable three times, once wrapping it round the brush. Tom's Guide had it clatter into a compact mirror and a toy car, and Notebookcheck saw it run over a shoelace until it stopped with an error. Larger objects were avoided well. Don't trust it around dog mess, and pick up cables first.
One side brush has limits
Tom's Guide found clumps of cat hair gathering in the wheel on the side without a brush, and TechRadar saw the side brush scatter some debris on hard floors, leaving edges and corners less than spotless. The split main brush did its job: TechRadar had no hair tangles, and Notebookcheck found the anti-tangle design mostly worked. Keep a stick vacuum for corners.

Our take
Should you buy the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro?
Best for: Homes with raised door thresholds and low furniture. Skip it if: Dried kitchen stains are your main cleaning problem.
buy it for a home with carpet, rugs, doorway thresholds and low furniture that needs vacuuming properly. If mopping sticky kitchen floors matters most, the Curv 2 Flow or the Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni use a roller mop, and the Eufy Omni S2 dodged clutter far better in testing.
The Qrevo Curv 2 Pro is the follow-up to the original Qrevo Curv, and its sensor on top drops into the body so it stands 7.98cm tall, low enough for most sofas and beds. A lifting chassis raises it over doorway thresholds and keeps the brush at the right height on thick carpet. It mops with two spinning pads, one swinging out to skirting boards, and can leave the pads in the dock for vacuum-only runs. You add floor cleaner by hand.
All three home testers rate the vacuuming highly, especially on carpet. TechRadar had no hair tangles and found the dock faultless over several weeks. Mopping is where it falls down: TechRadar saw ketchup left in slimy swirls because the pads aren't rinsed mid-run, Tom's Guide found sticky smears and unwiped gaps, and Notebookcheck put it behind roller-mop rivals. The questions people ask about this one
Does it fit under low furniture?
Its listed height is 7.98cm with the turret retracted, per the specifications. Tom's Guide saw it reach beneath its test furniture. Measure your own gaps and allow extra clearance for movement: an opening of exactly 8cm may be too tight.
Can it leave the mops in the dock for carpet?
Yes. It can drop its pads in the dock for vacuum-only runs, and lifts them 20mm over rugs, according to the specifications. Tom's Guide found this kept carpets from getting damp, and Notebookcheck singled it out as a useful new feature.
Will it avoid cables and pet mess?
Not reliably. TechRadar saw it run over a small toy bone and a phone cable, and Notebookcheck had a shoelace tangle it to a stop. TechRadar's reviewer says they would never rely on it to avoid dog mess.
Can it cross rugs and raised thresholds between rooms?
Well. Roborock claims it climbs 4cm double-layer thresholds and lifts itself on carpet up to 3cm deep, per the specifications. Tom's Guide found it handled most thresholds easily, and TechRadar saw it cope with thick pile without getting bogged down.
How loud is the dock?
It's big and rounded, and only comes in white. Notebookcheck measured emptying at over 70dB, loud but brief, and mop drying at just under 40dB. TechRadar also found emptying noisy but reliable, even with a bin full of dog hair.
How often do I have to empty or refill anything?
The dock empties the bin into a 2.7-litre bag. TechRadar expects about a month between bags without pets, or around two weeks with a hairy dog. You also fill the 3.2-litre clean tank, empty the dirty one and add detergent yourself, since Tom's Guide confirms there's no detergent tank.
Alternatives
Other robot vacuums to compare.

Qrevo Curv 2 Flow
Why consider it: Its roller mop rinses itself as it works, and it's a good tangle-free vacuum on hard floors.
The compromise: One detailed test found weak dried-stain removal, and carpet hair and edges still fall short.

Saros 10R
Why consider it: Lab tests found excellent hard-floor pickup, strong mopping and a low body for furniture.
The compromise: A lab test found it leaves plenty of embedded pet hair in carpet.

Omni S2
£99.01 more than the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro
Why consider it: Strong carpet and hair pickup, and it dodges obstacles superbly.
The compromise: Its roller mop results are divided, and one long-term reviewer's unit had to be replaced.

Qrevo S5V
£830 less than the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro
Why consider it: Testers agree it mops well, and its dock takes care of most upkeep.
The compromise: It also misses small objects, and testers split on pet hair.

Head to head
Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow vs Qrevo Curv 2 Pro
Our verdict: Pick the Curv 2 Pro for carpet, rugs, tall thresholds and low furniture. Tom's Guide tested both and preferred the Flow's roller for a messy kitchen, but Vacuum Wars found the Flow weak on dried stains, and it's about 12cm tall.
