Start with the pool, not the robot
Record pool dimensions, maximum depth, liner or surface material, steps, ledges and the shape of the floor. Confirm those features against the exact model’s manual. A cleaner advertised for a large pool may still be unsuitable for a particular liner, shallow shelf or tight corner.
Above-ground compatibility should be explicit. Do not assume a wall-climbing cleaner can safely work on every flexible-sided pool. Ask the manufacturer about unusual constructions before purchase and keep its answer with the order details.
Match filtration to the debris
