In a model-specific discussion, one self-identified owner recommended choosing a corded robot instead, citing both cleaning and endurance. The brief reply contains no pool dimensions, test method or repair history. It is a relevant negative experience, not enough to support a general claim that the 400 cleans badly.

Maytronics lists ClickUp retrieval, inductive charging, app settings and interchangeable fine filtration. These are useful design differences from basic cordless robots, but the manufacturer’s description does not show how reliably they work in every pool.

The practical unresolved question is whether one suitable cycle covers your pool satisfactorily. The available independent account does not answer how it handles your steps, fine sediment or repeated weekly use. Reports on the Liberty 300 or 600 should not be silently substituted for this version.
