What reviewers found
The V50 Ultra Complete has unusually divided test results. Its extensive automation is well supported, but cleaning and obstacle-avoidance assessments differ enough that we would not present it as an undisputed class leader.
Carpet results differ sharply
Vacuum Wars measured strong embedded-sand pickup and good flattened-hair removal, with excellent resistance to long-hair tangles. RTINGS found more residual debris and weaker embedded-hair pickup in its own carpet tests. These are separate test procedures, not numbers that can be averaged into one reliable household score. For carpet-heavy homes, the disagreement is a reason to look closely at the demonstrated conditions.

Vacuum Wars avoided 14 of 24 test objects, below its comparison average. RTINGS instead highlighted reliable avoidance of furniture and household clutter. We cannot establish from the reviewed material that firmware, settings or one particular home layout explains the difference. Buyers should expect capable navigation without treating either result as a universal guarantee.

The station empties dust, manages water and washes and dries the mop pads. Vacuum Wars also describes separate cleaning-solution options, including one intended for pet odours. RTINGS agreed that the dock reduced everyday work, while noting that the robot’s own brushes and other parts still required attention. Automation changes the maintenance routine; it does not remove it.

Vacuum Wars liked the mopping system, including the extending pad. RTINGS was less impressed by actual stain lifting. Warm-water features and pad-cleaning temperatures should not be used as substitutes for those floor-cleaning results. For sticky dried spills, the evidence is mixed enough that some manual spot cleaning remains a sensible expectation.

Its combination of dock automation, hair management and access features is attractive for a complex mixed-floor home. Vacuum Wars also found less impressive battery efficiency than the advertised runtime might suggest. Our interpretation is to judge the V50 as a complete system against your hardest cleaning jobs, with particular attention to the conflicting carpet results, rather than buying solely on its high specification.
