TechRadar encountered poor vacuuming when starting a dry run while the roller was still damp after mopping. Keeping vacuuming ahead of wet cleaning helped define a more workable routine. MacRumors also noted that the available modes did not include a straightforward mop-only option during its test.

Both reviewers found the S20 loud. MacRumors liked basic Siri and Apple Home control through Matter but still needed the SwitchBot app for maps, maintenance and firmware. Its review used manually filled tanks; an optional plumbing version changes water handling, so that convenience should not be assumed for every bundle.
