Vacuum Wars found unusually strong cleaning for this price bracket and positive results in its vibrating-mop test. Tom’s Guide also liked the actual vacuuming on carpet and hard floors. The evidence therefore supports the cleaning hardware; the larger question is whether the robot reaches the whole floor consistently enough to make it useful in your home.

Vacuum Wars found obstacle avoidance weak and advised clearing cords, socks and toys. Tom’s Guide’s home experience was more troublesome, with frequent stuck runs requiring supervision. A tidy, open floor is therefore a more persuasive setting than a busy room full of loose objects. LiDAR mapping does not itself guarantee dependable small-object avoidance.

The Plus package includes automatic dust emptying, but the mop still needs handling and washing. Tom’s Guide found that process fiddly and the dock’s emptying noisy. If mopping is the main reason for buying, compare how much manual work remains with the cost and size of a robot that actually washes its pads.

Vacuum Wars measured good battery efficiency in its test; Tom’s Guide found high suction drained the battery quickly. Different cleaning settings matter, so a long low-power run is not a promise for maximum suction. Vacuum Wars also flagged early customer fault reports without establishing a failure rate. Our conclusion is attractive cleaning value with a meaningful supervision trade-off.
