Tom’s Guide measured substantially better loose-debris pickup on hard flooring than carpet. Hair was its weakest material, with only 48% collected from carpet in its trial. WIRED saw good cat-hair removal but a long-hair clump left behind. That mixed evidence is more informative than describing the model as uniformly excellent for pet homes.

Tom’s Guide removed soy sauce, mayonnaise and mud after two passes. WIRED praised edge coverage but needed repeated cleaning for sticky spills. Both reports therefore support useful routine mopping while showing that a single pass is not always enough. Room cleanliness and stain removal should be checked separately after a demanding spill.

Tom’s Guide found setup and mapping quick, but the robot hit some obstacles forcefully. WIRED also found small items troublesome. A reliable room map is therefore compatible with missed cat toys and cables. Clear those items rather than treating the mapping screen as evidence of safe object recognition.

Tom’s Guide liked the relatively compact dock and its automatic dust collection, mop washing and drying. Water tanks still need routine attention; the advertised long dust-bag interval should not be interpreted as permission to leave dirty mop water standing for the same period. These early reviews do not establish long-term component durability or maintenance costs.
