Both Vacuum Wars and GearLab found effective stain cleaning. GearLab’s dried coffee test left a clean, non-sticky surface, although water needed extra time to dry; Vacuum Wars also measured more water left behind than it preferred. Adjusting water flow to suit the floor is a useful first step rather than assuming the strongest setting is always better.

Vacuum Wars recorded strong embedded-carpet and flattened-hair pickup, with no wrapping in its long-hair challenge. GearLab was less satisfied with pet-hair removal and did find wrapping, although the split roller was easy to clean. These are different test conditions, so we would not turn either into a blanket promise for all pets and carpet types.

Both outlets identified obstacle handling as a weakness. GearLab described a charging-cable tangle and contact with simulated pet messes; Vacuum Wars likewise recorded many missed obstacles. Good room mapping therefore should not be confused with dependable recognition of everything left on the floor. Cables, toys and possible pet accidents remain reasons to inspect first.

The station empties dust and washes and warm-air dries the pads, but does not heat the wash water. GearLab liked the app and routine maintenance experience; Vacuum Wars found this implementation somewhat less polished than costlier Roborocks and highlighted the small onboard bin. Our interpretation is that its value comes from cleaning and routine automation, with preparation still required.
