A genuinely useful idea for flats and smaller homes because it reaches places larger robots cannot. It is too new for a strong durability verdict, and buyers should see it as a compact daily cleaner rather than a full flagship replacement.
The tiny footprint, LiDAR navigation, vacuum-and-mop flexibility and compact auto-empty dock directly suit smaller European homes.
There is not yet enough independent long-term owner evidence, and the disposable-pad mopping system is simpler than premium self-washing designs.

What reviewers found
The Roomba Mini now has actual home-test evidence, not just a launch promise. Its small size and useful everyday pickup suit compact homes, while basic wiping, weaker carpet results and app interruptions define its limits.
Useful cleaning in tight spaces
T3 liked its compact footprint, fast initial mapping and hard-floor vacuuming. Woman & Home’s tester also found it useful for kitchen crumbs and pet hair, and valued how it fitted into a regular cleaning routine. The appeal is reducing frequent small chores in spaces where a larger robot is cumbersome.

The mop is a disposable wipe
Woman & Home found that the simple pad collected a worthwhile amount of dirt and ran quietly. T3 found stains remained after multiple passes. Those observations can both be true: wiping surface dirt and scrubbing dried marks are different jobs. Pads also have to be attached and replaced by hand.

T3 experienced repeated app disconnections that required reconnecting the robot and rebuilding saved maps and schedules. Woman & Home encountered a blocked emptying path without an alert, resolved by removing the obstruction. These are individual test experiences, but they identify what to check when judging whether the compact dock actually reduces daily attention.
