Buy the Roborock Saros 10 unless you need the climb. It is £300 cheaper with comparable hardware and its own T3 Platinum Award. The Dreame X50 Ultra is the most independently endorsed robot we have researched — TechRadar, T3 and Tech Advisor all gave it an award — and it climbs 6cm against the Saros 10's 4cm, which is the one thing £300 clearly buys.

The X50 Ultra's VersaLift system drops the robot to 89mm and it is rated for a 6cm threshold. The Saros 10's AdaptiLift chassis is verified at up to 4cm, handling 3cm thresholds. In a period home with tall door bars that difference decides it.
Dreame's DuoScrub pads extend up to 4cm sideways to reach skirting boards, washed at up to 80°C. Roborock detaches the mop entirely before carpet. Edge cleaning against carpet safety — pick the one your home needs.
The X50 Ultra's dock claims up to 100 days between bag changes with a 3.2L bag, and adds UV treatment and hot-air drying. Roborock publishes no self-empty interval we could verify for the Saros 10, so that cell is blank rather than guessed.
