What we know
Everything here comes from Enabot's product page and the specifications and FAQ on the Enabot Store. Enabot is unusually frank about the limits: thick carpet, bumps over 6mm and lag when you drive it from far away. The Enabot Store (SE 2 page) shows the EBO SE 2 shares the Mini's body and figures, while the Mini Sport above it adds a quieter motor and recognition of people and pets.
What Enabot says it does
Enabot lists a low-angle 2K camera with night vision, two-way audio, motion alerts, 24/7 recording, a laser for pet play and a feather toy sold separately. Type a message in the app and the robot reads it aloud. It remembers its route and drives back to the dock when the battery runs low.
Carpet and thresholds
The FAQ on the Enabot Store says the Mini works on carpet but may struggle with thick pile. It only crosses obstacles up to 6mm high and slopes up to 4°, which rules out a lot of door thresholds and deep rugs. According to Enabot, it fits under furniture with 9cm of clearance, so it can reach a pet hiding under the sofa. Check your floors before you buy.
Mini, Mini Sport or SE 2
The Enabot Store says the Mini Sport adds a quieter brushless motor, at 48.5dB against the Mini's 61dB, plus 12 eye colours and recognition that sorts recordings of people and pets. The Mini has none of these. Enabot's SE 2 lists the same dimensions, weight, camera, battery, motor and noise figure as the Mini, with the same laser and feather play Enabot Store (SE 2 page). Compare prices before you pick one.
Connection and privacy
You drive it from the app over Wi-Fi 6, and the Enabot Store FAQ admits there may be lag when you do that from a long way off. Family members can share access, and the app has a one-tap camera-off control Enabot. Recordings go to the 32GB memory card in the box, which you can swap for one of up to 256GB.
What's not checked yet
All of this comes from Enabot's own pages, Enabot and the Enabot Store. Nobody independent has yet reported on picture quality, night vision included, how reliably it finds its dock, how loud it really is, how long the battery lasts, how steady remote viewing is over Wi-Fi or how pets react to it. Those are the things to look for when the first reviews appear.
Our take
Should you buy the EBO Mini?
Best for: Pet owners wanting to drive a camera around one floor of the home. Skip it if: Stairs, thick rugs or raised thresholds separate the rooms you want to reach.
consider it if you want a simple moving camera to check on a pet and your floors are mostly hard or low-pile, and buy where returns are easy. The EBO Air 2 Plus has one positive review and adds video calls and patrols, and Enabot's ROLA Mini is a similar small pet camera with owner feedback.
The EBO Mini is a ball-shaped camera on tracks, under 10cm tall, that you drive round from the Enabot app. It records video, lets you talk through it, plays with pets using a laser, films around the clock and returns to its dock when the battery runs low. It's the entry model in Enabot's Mini series, below the Mini Sport, and Enabot sells the EBO SE 2 alongside it with the same specifications and a lower price.
Enabot's own FAQ is frank about the limits: thick-pile carpet can stop it, remote control can lag over long distances and it only clears 6mm bumps. It doesn't recognise people or pets, unlike the Mini Sport, and the EBO SE 2 offers the same hardware for a lower price.

The questions people ask about this one
Does it need a subscription to keep working?
Enabot's Mini page doesn't mention a subscription the specifications. It comes with a 32GB memory card for recordings, expandable to 256GB, and Enabot lists 24/7 recording with playback in the app. Nobody has independently confirmed which features work without an account.
What does it record, and where does that go?
It has a 2K camera with night vision and a microphone, sends motion alerts and can record around the clock to its memory card the specifications. Enabot lists shared family access and a one-tap camera-off control. Nobody has independently checked how the app handles your footage.
Can it handle rugs and carpet?
Only thin ones. The Enabot Store FAQ says it can struggle on thick-pile carpet, and it only crosses obstacles up to 6mm high, with a 4° slope limit the specifications. Enabot says its self-righting shape copes with knocks from pets, but a raised threshold will stop it.
How long does the battery last?
Enabot claims 4–7 hours from its battery and 2–3 hours to recharge the specifications. According to Enabot, it remembers its route and heads back to the dock when low. Nobody has measured the battery or checked how reliably it finds the dock.
Is it noisy?
Enabot rates it at 61dB, noticeably louder than the 48.5dB it quotes for the Mini Sport with its brushless motor Enabot Store. That matters if it'll patrol while you're home or your pet is nervous of motor noise. No independent test has measured it.
Alternatives
Other companion robots to compare.

ROLA Mini
Why consider it: A small tracked pet camera you drive around to peer into spots a fixed camera misses, backed by first-hand owner accounts.
The compromise: Floor obstacles and how your pet takes to it are the practical limits.

EBO Air 2 Plus
$200 more than the EBO Mini
Why consider it: It adds a 3K camera, video calls through its screen eyes and scheduled patrols.
The compromise: There's only one finished review so far, and it still can't do stairs.

Scout
Why consider it: A programmable moving camera that gives you a low-angle look around a room from afar.
The compromise: Owners report very different experiences with docking and Wi-Fi.
