Z70 Ultra Roller Complete
MOVA's 2026 roller-mop robot, with more suction, a hotter mop wash and a claimed 9cm climb. Early testers rate the mopping and hair handling highly, but dried sugary stains and flat cables still catch it out.

The short version
The Z70 Ultra Roller Complete replaces the Z60 at the top of MOVA's roller-mop range. Instead of two spinning pads, a wide roller is sprayed with clean water and squeezed out as it cleans, then lifts and gets covered when it reaches carpet. The dock washes the roller at up to 100°C, dries it with hot air, empties the bin into a bag and refills the tank. MOVA claims more suction than the Z60, firmer mop pressure and two-step door bars up to 9cm.
The trade-off is that you're paying for improvements that are hard to see. One tester found the extra suction made little practical difference over the Z60, which is still on sale. The dock is sizeable, water tanks need topping up every few cleans, and mopping a large home took more than one charge. The station comes in brushed-metal or stone-look finishes; the robot is the same.
Our take: Buy it if you mostly have hard floors, want one of the most thorough robot mops you can get, and have tall thresholds or long hair that tangles other robots. If you want the same idea for less, the Z60 Ultra Roller Complete tested very well and the Z70's gains look small. Only two early reviews exist, so check the return policy.

Two home tests so far: Basic Tutorials in Germany and EFTM over a few weeks in Australia. Both rate the roller mop, the edge cleaning and the threshold climbing highly. They differ on stains, with EFTM happy on dried messes and Basic Tutorials struggling with old jam, and on whether the extra suction matters. Basic Tutorials also saw it miss very small or flat objects. No lab test has been published yet.

A very thorough roller mop
Basic Tutorials called it one of the best mopping robots on the market, with the constantly rinsed roller staying clean over large areas and puddle-type spills handled easily. EFTM was impressed by the roller and said it worked well on dried or caked-on marks. The catch, per Basic Tutorials: dried sugary stains such as jam needed repeat passes or a hand. Expect everyday mess to vanish, not every old stain.
Strong suction, small gain over Z60
Basic Tutorials found near-flawless pickup of fine dust, crumbs and sand on hard floors and carpet, with hardly any hair wrapped on the brush even after heavy use. But it saw little practical improvement over the Z60, and its small onboard bin filled quickly on very dirty floors. EFTM, coming from a robot with lower suction, said its deep-pile carpets had never felt cleaner.
Climbs well, but watch flat cables
EFTM said it took on its bathroom and laundry thresholds, just over an inch high, easily, and Basic Tutorials found door thresholds and thick carpet edges no problem. On obstacles, Basic Tutorials found larger and flat items like a magazine reliably avoided, but a charging cable and a flat phone sometimes weren't. EFTM reported it working round everyday clutter. Pick up cables before a run.
Edges and corners get proper attention
Both testers liked the extending side brush and roller. EFTM doubted a roller could reach into corners and found it got almost all the way in. Basic Tutorials rated the edge cleaning highly but noted a roller can't match the edge-to-edge reach of extending mop pads. If dust along skirting boards bothers you, this is a real strength.
Big dock, frequent water top-ups
MOVA claims up to 125 days before you need to empty the dust bag. EFTM had to top up clean water every second clean and empty the dirty tank every third, and found mopping its large home took more than one charge. Basic Tutorials noted the station, at 42 x 43 x 50cm, is by no means small. Both liked the app, and Basic Tutorials liked the metal-finish build.
Basic Tutorials tested the brushed-metal version; EFTM's review covers the Australian model. The Natural Stone Black and Brushed Metallic finishes are the same robot.

Will it avoid cables and pet mess?
Mostly. MOVA claims it recognises more than 300 object types, per the specifications, and EFTM found it worked round everyday clutter. But Basic Tutorials saw it sometimes miss a charging cable and a flat phone. Clear cables and small flat things before a run.
Does it fit under low furniture?
It's 96mm tall with the laser turret lowered, per the specifications. Basic Tutorials found the turret retracted automatically under low furniture, letting it reach spots other roller-mop robots can't. Measure the gap under your sofa first.
How does it handle rugs and door bars?
MOVA claims two-step thresholds up to 9cm, per the specifications. EFTM saw it cross thresholds just over an inch high with ease. On carpet the roller lifts 13mm and a cover drops over it, which Basic Tutorials found kept rugs dry at the transition.
How often do I have to empty or refill anything?
The dust bag is claimed to last up to 125 days, per the specifications. Water is the regular job: EFTM topped up clean water every second clean and emptied the dirty tank every third. An optional kit can connect the dock to your plumbing, according to the specifications.
Z70 or the older Z60?
The Z70 has more claimed suction, a hotter mop wash and a slightly higher climb, per the specifications. But Basic Tutorials found little practical improvement in suction over the Z60 and wanted more progress on dried stains. If the Z60 is much cheaper where you are, it's the better value.
