Omni C28
5 independent reviewsRead the findings →eufy's lower-priced roller-mop robot, with a dock that empties, washes and dries. It vacuums and mops far better than its price suggests. It has no camera, though, so small clutter and chair legs can catch it out.

What reviewers found
Five reviews, and they agree on the big things. Vacuum Wars, Tom's Guide and Expert Reviews all measured excellent pickup, with Expert Reviews finding it matched the pricier E25. Vacuum Wars rated the mopping among the best it has tested, T3 liked the streak-free finish, and Trusted Reviews found lighter stains came up easily. Obstacles split them: Expert Reviews found it steered round cables well, Vacuum Wars scored it slightly below average, and Trusted Reviews says it can't recognise small objects at all. Its exact height and detergent handling aren't clear either.

Hard floors
Reviewers rate it highlyExpert Reviews saw it pick up nearly all the rice and dog hair in its tests, matching the pricier E25, and Tom's Guide scored highly in almost every pickup test. Tom's Guide did find corners and cat hair on wood harder going.
Carpet and rugs
Reviewers rate it highlyVacuum Wars measured well-above-average grit removal from medium-pile carpet, and Expert Reviews found carpets looked fluffed up and hair-free. Fine flour was tougher: Trusted Reviews needed two passes and Expert Reviews left a fair amount behind.
Pet hair
Reviewers rate it highlyVacuum Wars saw all the flattened pet hair lifted from carpet and no long hair wrapped round the brush, and Expert Reviews got almost all the dog hair up. Trusted Reviews also found nothing tangled after its hair test.
Mopping
Reviewers rate it highlyVacuum Wars put it among the best mops it has tested, leaving little water behind, and Tom's Guide saw ketchup cleared with ease. Tougher stains can need a few passes, as Trusted Reviews and Expert Reviews found, and the roller can't be left in the dock for carpets.
Navigation and obstacles
Mixed resultsIt maps well and rarely gets stuck, but it can't recognise small objects. Expert Reviews found it steered round cables and shoes, and Trusted Reviews never had it trapped, yet Trusted Reviews saw it miss fake pet mess and Vacuum Wars scored its avoidance slightly below average.
Dock and upkeep
Mixed resultsThe dock handles emptying, washing and drying, but with niggles. Tom's Guide liked its compact size and removable tray, yet the tank flap can swing open if not latched, and Expert Reviews, Tom's Guide and Trusted Reviews found no detergent slot.
App and software
Mixed resultsExpert Reviews rated eufy's app among the very best for balancing features and ease of use. Trusted Reviews found it a touch basic, and Tom's Guide found it simple and easy to navigate but with far fewer fine-tuning options than Roborock's.
Noise
Mixed resultsThe robot is quiet: Trusted Reviews measured 57.2dB and Expert Reviews noticed how quiet it is while cleaning. The dock is another matter, with Expert Reviews hearing its drying hum for up to five hours and T3 finding it louder than the E25's.
Reliability and support
Not enough evidenceNone of the reviews we use has run it long-term or judged eufy's support yet.
Value
Reviewers rate it highlyReviewers agree it's strong value. Expert Reviews called it the best-value robot vacuum and mop it has tested, Trusted Reviews found it excellent value for mostly hard floors, and Tom's Guide said it's hard to beat for the price.
Verdicts come from independent, hands-on, finished reviews. An area needs at least two of them before we say more than “Not enough evidence”. We don't score robots ourselves. How this works
Vacuuming well above its price
Vacuum Wars measured 89% of grit pulled from carpet, all of the flattened pet hair lifted and no long hair wrapped round the brush. Tom's Guide got 90% or more in every test but one, and Expert Reviews saw 98% of rice and dog hair picked up, much like the E25. There were weaker spots. Tom's Guide found cat hair on wood and an embedded thread harder going, and Expert Reviews got about 62% of flour from carpet. It's still a strong everyday result.
A roller mop that leaves little water
Vacuum Wars scored dried stains well above average and measured a quarter of the usual water left behind, putting it in its top ten mops. Tom's Guide saw ketchup cleared easily, with slight streaks only on the lowest water setting, and T3 noticed fewer streaks than with pad mops. Tougher stains took Trusted Reviews a few passes, and Expert Reviews found stubborn marks quicker to finish by hand. For everyday hard-floor washing, it's very good.
Obstacle results depend on the tester
Expert Reviews found it avoided cables, shoes and boxes well, even under a desk. Vacuum Wars recorded 15 of 24 obstacles avoided, slightly below average and well behind the camera-equipped E25. According to Trusted Reviews, the front sensor can't pick out wires, socks or pet mess. Tom's Guide saw it bump skirting boards and get stuck on a chair base before freeing itself. Without a camera it senses bigger shapes, not small items, so clear the floor first.
Taller than it looks
eufy lists 4.35 inches, roughly 11cm, and Vacuum Wars measured 4.4 inches. Expert Reviews reported 131mm, while T3 described a 10cm body. With figures that far apart, there's no single gap you can count on. If clearance is tight, ask for the full height of the exact unit, measure the lowest crossbar under your furniture and leave room for it to move.
A compact but noisy dock
Tom's Guide found the dock shorter and thinner than most, with a handy removable tray, though both tank lids need closing properly or the flap swings open. T3 found it much louder than the E25's dock when emptying and washing, and Tom's Guide heard whirring and gurgling during water transfers. None of Expert Reviews, Tom's Guide or Trusted Reviews found a detergent slot, so you add cleaner to the water yourself.
Our take
Should you buy the Omni C28?
Best for: Homes with mostly hard floors that are kept clear of clutter. Skip it if: Cables or pet accidents are common on your floors.
The C28 suits mostly clear hard floors if you want a self-rinsing roller mop and strong cleaning at a mid-range price. Its obstacle results were less consistent. The E25 adds camera-based recognition, but still needs hazards and pet accidents cleared first. The C20 has a lower body, although its mop and obstacle results bring different compromises. Confirm the C28's height before choosing it for a tight furniture gap.
The Omni C28 is the top of eufy's lower-priced C series, and eufy pitches it as the upgrade to the older X10 Pro Omni. It mops with the same kind of self-rinsing roller as the dearer E25. Clean water is sprayed onto the roller as it turns and the dirty water is scraped off into a separate tank, and the dock empties the bin, washes the roller and dries it with warm air. To reach the lower price eufy left out the E25's camera, so it feels its way round obstacles with laser sensors alone.
Five reviews agree it cleans well above its price. Expert Reviews found it picked up nearly all the rice and dog hair in its tests, matching the E25, and Vacuum Wars measured 89% of grit lifted from carpet with no long hair wrapped round the brush. Vacuum Wars put the mop among the best it has tested, and Tom's Guide saw ketchup cleared with ease, though Trusted Reviews needed a few passes on tougher stains. Obstacles are where they part. Expert Reviews found it steered round cables and shoes well, but Vacuum Wars scored its avoidance slightly below average and Trusted Reviews says the front sensor can't pick out wires, socks or pet mess. Expert Reviews, Tom's Guide and Trusted Reviews all found no detergent slot, though eufy's listing mentions one, and T3 found the dock much louder than the E25's. Reviewers also give different heights for it, so measure your lowest gap before buying.

Before you buy
The questions people ask about this one
Will it avoid cables and pet mess?
Don't rely on it for thin cables or pet mess. Trusted Reviews found it weak at recognising small objects and Vacuum Wars scored avoidance below average, although Expert Reviews had better results with cables. The E25 adds a camera, but that's no guarantee it'll avoid an accident either. Clear hazards first, whichever you buy.
Does it fit under low furniture?
The reported heights disagree. eufy lists about 11cm the specifications, Vacuum Wars measured roughly that, and Expert Reviews reported 13.1cm. If the fit is tight, confirm the full height of the exact unit before buying. Measure the lowest point under your furniture and allow extra room, because 11cm isn't a guaranteed clearance.
Can it cross rugs and raised thresholds between rooms?
Well. eufy claims it climbs obstacles up to 2cm, per the specifications, and Expert Reviews found that held up, with threshold strips no problem and rugs crossed without rucking. Tom's Guide saw it climb a higher kitchen border easily. Trusted Reviews adds that the roller lifts 10.8mm, so it suits short-pile rugs best.
Can it leave the mop in the dock for carpet?
No. Trusted Reviews found the roller stays on the robot and lifts 10.8mm, with no cover and no option to leave it in the dock. That can help on short pile, but it won't necessarily clear deep carpet or rug edges. Set the robot to avoid carpets the wet roller can't clear.
Does it add detergent automatically?
Reviewers say no. Expert Reviews, Tom's Guide and Trusted Reviews found no detergent slot, so you add cleaner to the clean-water tank. eufy's listing mentions detergent dispensing, per the specifications, and T3 says eufy recommends only its own solution. Check which version you're buying and what's in the box.
How often do I have to empty or refill it?
eufy says the 3-litre dust bag lasts up to 75 days, per the specifications. The clean and dirty water tanks hold 2.2 litres each, so you'll deal with those more often. Tom's Guide warns to latch both closures on the tanks before lifting them, or the water can spill.
Alternatives
Other robot vacuums to compare.

Omni E25
Why consider it: Tests show strong hair handling, plus a camera for spotting obstacles.
The compromise: Testers saw it chew rug edges, and one owner had a long run of faulty units.

Qrevo Edge 2 Flow
Why consider it: A promising roller-mop robot for mixed floors, with positive early home testing.
The compromise: Debris was left at rug edges, and the reviewed app had no mop-only mode.

Omni C20
Why consider it: A much slimmer body that fits under low furniture, with good hard-floor pickup.
The compromise: No obstacle avoidance, and testers disagree on how well it mops.

eufy Omni E25 vs Omni C28
Our verdict: Expert Reviews found similar pickup from the C28 and E25. Vacuum Wars measured better obstacle avoidance from the E25, though a test score won't guarantee it dodges every hazard. The C28 makes sense if your floors stay clear, and the E25 adds object recognition. Both keep their wet roller attached over carpet.
