A1
Limited evidenceRead the findings →HUTT's square, mains-powered window robot, with a big water tank and strong claimed suction. It suits everyday glass rather than heavy grime. It plugs into the wall, and its backup battery only holds it on the glass for 20 minutes.

What we know
One household test on Mobile01, a Taiwanese forum, found it cleared film and rain marks from balcony glass using just water, but couldn't shift old scale on a shower door. We couldn't confirm whether that tester's unit came from HUTT or a distributor, so we treat it with care. The rest comes from HUTT's product page: up to 6,000Pa of suction, a 150ml tank and a design meant to clean closer to the edges.
Mobile01, hands-on (We couldn't confirm whether the tester's unit was supplied by HUTT or a distributor)
What HUTT claims
HUTT lists up to 6,000Pa of peak suction, a 150ml tank it says cleans 90 square metres per fill, and two-way pulsed spraying to keep the cloth wet. It claims 99.5% coverage, edge cleaning improved by half, 13 sensors, pressure checks every 0.03 seconds and a 20-minute hold if the power fails. HUTT also says it copes with thick glass and gaps between panes.
One household test
With water in the tank, the Mobile01 tester found it easy to position with the remote and good at clearing film and rain marks off a balcony window. Its pressure warning helped when the robot wasn't properly attached. On a shower door it improved things but couldn't remove old scale and soap residue with water alone, and the automatic spraying gave the tester less control over one dirty spot than they wanted.
Prep before, washing after
The Mobile01 tester describes filling the tank, connecting the power, securing the tether and fitting the cloth flat before starting, then washing the cloth afterwards so grit isn't dragged across the next window. HUTT says its combined power cable and safety rope avoids tangles and makes it easier to store. The A1 does the wiping, but those jobs are still yours.
Noise claims that don't match
HUTT's A1 page promises a 10% noise reduction and truly silent cleaning in one place, and a 30% cut from a patented design in another. It gives no decibel figure for either. Assume it's about as loud as other suction window robots and plan to leave the room while it works.
What's not checked yet
Most of what HUTT promises hasn't been put to the test. Still open: how loud it really is, whether the edge cleaning is better than HUTT's older models, whether it reaches the claimed 99.5% coverage, how it copes with thick glass and gaps between panes, and whether the backup battery really holds it on the glass for 20 minutes when the power cuts out.
Our take
Should you buy the A1?
Best for: Large windows cleaned regularly, with a socket nearby. Skip it if: You want a stronger record in independent tests before buying.
Wait for a proper test before buying the A1. On paper it's well equipped, but HUTT's own noise claims don't even agree with each other. If you want a square robot that's been tested now, the HOBOT S7 Pro or the Ecovacs WINBOT mini 2 are safer bets, and the WINBOT W2S Omni works away from a socket.
The A1 is HUTT's square window robot. It moves on rubber tracks, wipes with a 5mm-thick nanofibre cloth and sprays water in pulses from both sides, from a 150ml tank that HUTT says is two and a half times the usual size. HUTT quotes up to 6,000Pa of suction, a design meant to clean closer to the edges than its older models, and a single button to start it.
Like most window robots, it plugs into the wall, with a battery that only holds it on the glass for 20 minutes if the power goes, and you carry it from pane to pane. In one household test on a Taiwanese forum it cleared film and rain marks from balcony glass with just water, but couldn't shift old scale and soap on a shower door. You still fill the tank, fix the tether, fit the cloth and wash it afterwards.
HUTT also makes the C65, a round-pad model.

The questions people ask about this one
What happens if the power cuts out?
HUTT claims a 20-minute hold after power loss, an alarm, and a safety rope rated to 148kg, per the specifications. The Mobile01 tester found the pressure warning useful when the robot wasn't fully attached. Nobody has tested the backup battery itself.
Will it work on frameless glass?
HUTT's A1 page doesn't mention frameless glass. It lists 13 sensors and says the robot crosses gaps without dropping, per the specifications. We couldn't find anyone who has tried it on frameless panes.
Does it leave streaks or edges?
No independent reviewer has tested this. HUTT claims 99.5% coverage and better edge cleaning, per the specifications. The Mobile01 tester got clear balcony glass but couldn't remove old scale from a shower door with water alone.
Do I need a special cleaning fluid?
HUTT says its cloths can be used with plain water, per the specifications. The Mobile01 tester used water and got good results on balcony glass, but not on old shower scale, where a cleaner might help.
Alternatives
Other window-cleaning robots to compare.

S7 Pro
Why consider it: A square robot with two scrubbing pads, and TechRadar found it excellent on lightly dirty glass and at spotting frameless edges.
The compromise: Both of its reviewers saw streaks on dirtier glass.

WINBOT mini 2
Why consider it: A compact square robot whose corner brushes aim to reach the frame.
The compromise: It's also mains-powered and loud, and you stand beside it while it works.

WINBOT W2S OMNI
Why consider it: Its battery station frees it from the socket, and three tests found it cleans everyday dirt well and gets closer to the edges than most.
The compromise: Corners still aren't perfect, and you move it between panes and wash the pad yourself.
